Minor note: I'm removing the 'jump to' thingies. I don't think the threads are moving fast enough that anyone would have a problem getting to the correct page...and, besides, I don't think the shortcuts would have worked for people who have their 'posts per page' set to anything other than 20.

Ok, there is no way I can possibly do this without raising the interest of our mafia friends.  So, I am going to go with an unusual strategy more typical from the one I am about to accuse.

I AM FOX MCCLOUD!!!

You ask for proof?  Here it is.  Vote for Khush, and you will find that he is actually the traitor protecting Panther!!

One more thing.  Now that I have revealed Khush, Wolf will surely want me dead, so I need to ask for the protection of the doctor, this is a major risk, but I can only hope that we can kill Wolf before they take out the good doctor.

One note to the doctor, feel free to PM me after Khush is gone, but know that I will investigate you to make sure you are who you say you are.

How odd that me and wolf are now on equal standing.  We are known, but our lives rest with the lives of an unknown player.

Wow. I just made a big mistake. This is going to sound really stupid but I am actually Fox McCloud.

Zach is mafia and he's trying to expose the doctor. Don't listen to him. You vote me out and you put the mafia at a 4-2 advantage. Then, if you vote out Zach to make up for your mistake, you'll be at a 3-1 advantage. If the remaing mafia member survives that day, everyone loses. This is just a false tactic to get everyone confused and on the wrong suspect.

If you want the full story, I pm'd Zach because I wanted an answer to the day 1 events. I wanted to know why Zach voted for Spak-Spang instead of Stabby that day. I also found it weird that Stabby didn't vote to save himself that day. Why did Zach save him? Were they in cahoots? So, I investigated Stabby and found that he was an innocent vacationer. Ok, fine. But that didn't rule out the fact that he might be the traitor hiding Wolf.

So, I thought I'd put pressure on him again. Then, people started harping on 18 Days, so I thought I should investigate her. Plus, I had spoken with 18 Days before the game about voting together and wanted to see if she was innocent and if we could form a team. In the meantime, I still didn't have much to go on besides Zach and Stabby, so I thought I'd just ask Zach the questions and see what answers I got. I didn't want to start posting some suspicions on an innocent person or else there would be two innocents fighting one another. But the answers weren't that satisfying. So, I took a chance and told Zach that I knew some people who were innocents and that if he could convice me of the fact, we could make a team. He wanted to know how I knew they were innocent so I took a chance and told him I was Fox. And now this. The crushing of a townie alliance before it began.

I am laughing my @ss off at this story,  I gotta admit, I didnt see this one coming.

So lets say hypothetically this story is true, Lets see if I can poke some holes

Quote

Zach is mafia and he's trying to expose the doctor.
I asked the doctor to PM me after you are dead, and confirmed to be a mafia member, If I wanted the doctor to expose himself, I would have asked him to pm me today.

Quote

I wanted to know why Zach voted for Spak-Spang instead of Stabby that day. I also found it weird that Stabby didn't vote to save himself that day
if you had looked at the time I changed my vote, 18 days also changed her vote AT THE EXACT SAME MINUTE.  At the time Spak was the best vote to save myself.

Quote

So, I investigated Stabby and found that he was an innocent vacationer. Ok, fine. But that didn't rule out the fact that he might be the traitor hiding Wolf.
So you found Stabby innocent, and still voted for him repeatedly, I know you had suspicions for other reasons, but that's still pretty risky.

Quote

So, I took a chance and told Zach that I knew some people who were innocents and that if he could convice me of the fact, we could make a team. He wanted to know how I knew they were innocent so I took a chance and told him I was Fox. And now this. The crushing of a townie alliance before it began.
That is the biggest stretch of all, you suspected me, and yet you told me your role, without even investigating me.  I know you are a very smart mafia player (and you have proven it with this genious story) I know you of all people would never tell a suspected mafia member your role.

Revieling myself is quite understandable, since I have the information to back it up, and I am sure to expose a mafia member.

Quote

This is going to sound really stupid but I am actually Fox McCloud.
Your right there, it does sound pretty stupid.

Ive gotta go to bed. Hopefully the townies are as smart as I think they are, and I see lots of votes for Khush tommorrow when I get back on.

Look, Ceric, if you're voting for me because I started the bandwagon yesterday against TVman... I only voted for him because he hadn't shown up yet, and this made me worried. Towards the end, I began to wonder if I had in fact done the right thing, so I sent him a PM. It convinced me enough that he was innocent, but I received it literally minutes before the end of the voting, and I didn't make it in time to change my vote (though I'm not sure if it would have saved him now – having a hard time keeping track of the vote count with all the vote changes).

If you vote me out, you're only hurting the vacationers, and that's just what the mafia wants. I hope you reconsider.

And to TVman, I'm sorry I didn't make it. I honestly had every intention to change my vote away from you... I was just a minute too late.

Look, it's pretty obvious that either Zach or Khush are mafia.  So instead of fighting amongst ourselves, we should be grilling them to figure out with one of them is a big fat liar.

I think Zach's story is a little tighter at this point, but Khush does make some good points.

What are you people talking about? I'm Fox McCloud! Ignoring the fact that there's no way a snout and ears could fit into this helmet without permanent damage, and the absence of any room for a tail, and the fact that I'm over six feet tall while Fox is rather short, and that my voice sounds nothing like Fox's, I'm clearly Fox.

The Republic wouldn't suddenly send a single emissary with special forces training and equipped with a stealth field generator for a diplomatic mission. And they certainly would not dream of sending said emissary to your system to steal your governments top-secret designs for the Arwing, its advanced weapons, shields and G-Diffuser to be combined with our advanced armor, shield generators and warp drive systems to create an interceptor easily capable of being mass-produced and perfect for protecting capitol ships and transports loaded with multiple Legions for an interplanetary invasion.

...I should stop now.

I blame the torture I went through when captured by rebels on Anchor III. I was able to avoid revealing any information until I was able to lead a prisoner revolt against my captors and take the facility. Since then, I'm capable of taking the worst torture without saying a word.

But the experience left me unable to keep a secret in casual conversations, as you can tell. Heck, I was to smuggle a silenced pistol with me here to take out anyone who got in my way, but when the customs agent asked if I had any contraband I blabbed and it was confiscated. I liked that pistol, too.

This post contains all you need to know about today's mafia argument!

Concerning the situation with Zach, let me recap his arguments.

"I asked the doctor to PM me after you are dead, and confirmed to be a mafia member, If I wanted the doctor to expose himself, I would have asked him to pm me today."

True enough. I started typing as soon as I read your post and in my mind, I just remembered your pleas for the doctor saving you and hooking up with him. I just saw this as a way to expose the doctor. So, good for you. You got a point against me.

"If you had looked at the time I changed my vote, 18 days also changed her vote AT THE EXACT SAME MINUTE. At the time Spak was the best vote to save myself."

Funny, you said in your pm that you voted for Spak because you thought it would be funny that he started a bandwagon against himself. Pretty much the same thing you posted earlier in this thread. I also find it interesting how you've been spreading your votes around. First 18 Days, then Dasmos, then Spak. The next day, you joined in the vote for TVMan, then changed to Stevey for no reason. Frankly, I think your voting as been highly suspect. It seems like you are trying to start or join bandwagons. Basically, get everyone's attention on voting for other people other than yourself.

"So you found Stabby innocent, and still voted for him repeatedly, I know you had suspicions for other reasons, but that's still pretty risky."

It might be risky but I've found that my instincts are pretty darn good in this game. I think most everyone knows from my voting habits in the past that I tend to keep voting for the same person if I think they are mafia. I decided to let up on Stabby since he did vote but now I wish I had pursued it. It caused me to vote for TVMan an innocent and now I'm still unsure about Stabby.

You're record on the other hand. You've voted for 18 Days (innocent), Dasmos (unknown), Spak-Spang (innocent), TVMan (innocent), Stevey (unknown), Khushrenada (Fox McCloud). I think your voting record clearly shows that you are out to raise votes against innocent people. Frankly, with what has happened now, it seems pretty clear my instincts were right. I don't need another vote against me but where's Stabby? Oh, he's posting that he's Fox McCloud and trying to make a joke of this whole thing also. Perhaps in an effort to help save a mafia buddy? Maybe to keep people from believing that what I'm saying is true?

"That is the biggest stretch of all, you suspected me, and yet you told me your role, without even investigating me. I know you are a very smart mafia player (and you have proven it with this genious story) I know you of all people would never tell a suspected mafia member your role."

This statement here is a falsification of what happened between us. It did not go down as you have stated. I never said I suspected you when I pm'd you. I only said that I was wondering if you could tell me why you were voting the way you were. I told you that I didn't want to start raising suspicion against you and have everyone focusing on someone innocent instead of the mafia. Even though your answers weren't great, they seemed honest enough. So, that'sa when I told you about my plan for a townie alliance. I also figured it was save to tell you that I was Fox McCloud for two reasons:

1. If you were mafia and killed me during the night, you would have been immediately suspected by 18 Days, who knew I was Fox McCloud and who I knew was an innocent. I see you killed 18 Days during the night and now you are trying to get me voted out because I know you are mafia, thereby ending the growing threat to you.

2. Even if you were mafia, I figured you would let me live because you would have thought that you were able to slip into the townie alliance and therefore not be suspected. Then you could try to manipulate the townie alliance.

The sum of my arguements and how you should vote

It was a calculated risk but one I felt confident in taking. Once you found out I would investigate you, then you started this whole thing of quickly trying to kill me. I have to admit. This is one of the wierdest mafia tactics I've ever seen someone do. But I understand why. It guarentees an innocent death now, then everyone votes for you next day and you give your remaining member a shot at winning it all on the last day. Best of all, you keep the doctor from being able to hook up with anyone.

And the truth is, I can't argue with Zach's logic. I used that logic all the time in past mafia games. It is a good point. Why not wait and see. Well, I'll tell you why. Unlike previous mafia games, we don't have the luxury of waiting around to see who's right. I just outlined why in the above paragraph. I don't want this going to the last day and hoping the townies can pick off the one in four mafia member.

But I am reasonable. Let's face it. Fox McCloud's power is over. The only person I can locate now is the doctor but he will come forth on his own now. That's the only benefit I have left and the one the mafia is trying to prevent. If I live, it will give the doctor an opportunity to hook up with me (Fox) and form an alliance. Killing me keeps the doctor alone.

Still, if you are unsure that I'm innocent, then vote for me. It may seem silly but I know I'm innocent and it will expose Zach either way. Even if I die, I can still get a win with the townies, so I'm not to concerned about if I live or die. Unlike Zach. Plus, if I'm right about Zach and Stabby, it means that the mafia will lose in the next two days. I'd just rather get rid of a mafia member now instead of pushing the game to the limit.

Oh, and ending your post with an insult. Classy.

Actually Stevey, I didn't pull anything this time. This is all Zach. I'm just trying to let people know the facts. Let's face it. How many times have I been right before? I know alot of poeple don't trust me when I do this but let's face it. Even though they didn't trust me, I was, am and still right. I'm telling the truth now also. Unfortunately, Zach attacked me first. Usually, I'm the one who starts the attack. I think that's why people have a hard time believing me now. So, I have to give them credit there.

Plus, wouldn't you like to get revenge on Zach for his mafia game? Now's your chance and you'd be helping the townies.

Hey, Black Shadow, are there any Arwings still docked in the Great Fox? The Republic will pay you your weight in Denarii if you can get one.

Wait, I'm accused of being Mafia? Pepper, if you had investigated me, wouldn't I come up as a vacationer and there be no doubt of my innocence? Is this how your people treat comedians?

As I explained before, you did come up as a vacationer but that doesn't mean you are innocent. I noticed that Wandering posted a message saying that the traitor hiding Wolf O'Donnel would show up as innocent after I investigated you, so that added to my suspicion about you being the mafia head.

Ah, so then I don't have much to say in my defense. Beside that I'm innocent, but nobody believes that stuff these days.

Still, voting for Pepper may be a win-win situation. If he's Fox, then we know Zach is Mafia, and if he's Mafia, then Zach is innocent. Or we could vote Zach out and follow the same steps.

Its kinda worthless to try to defend myself at this point. Oh well, I might as well say it anyway.

First of all, I did not vote for Spak because he started the bandwagon against himself, I only said it was interesting that he started it against himself.

Secondly, I voted for tvman because he didnt show up.  Which I believe was Khush's reasoning as well.

Lastly, you said several times that you suspected me, in your post.

I am glad to die if I have to prove that Khush is mafia, My role as fox is useless now anyway..  Once you all see how much of a mistake you make if you vote me off, tonights results will give you a clue on how to vote later.

As for Khush, I never thought anyone could have pulled off what you just did, congrats

Edit:  Looking at the score again, it seems that it is tied, perhaps there is hope after all.
