This post contains all you need to know about today's mafia argument!
Concerning the situation with Zach, let me recap his arguments.
"I asked the doctor to PM me after you are dead, and confirmed to be a mafia member, If I wanted the doctor to expose himself, I would have asked him to pm me today."
True enough. I started typing as soon as I read your post and in my mind, I just remembered your pleas for the doctor saving you and hooking up with him. I just saw this as a way to expose the doctor. So, good for you. You got a point against me.
"If you had looked at the time I changed my vote, 18 days also changed her vote AT THE EXACT SAME MINUTE. At the time Spak was the best vote to save myself."
Funny, you said in your pm that you voted for Spak because you thought it would be funny that he started a bandwagon against himself. Pretty much the same thing you posted earlier in this thread. I also find it interesting how you've been spreading your votes around. First 18 Days, then Dasmos, then Spak. The next day, you joined in the vote for TVMan, then changed to Stevey for no reason. Frankly, I think your voting as been highly suspect. It seems like you are trying to start or join bandwagons. Basically, get everyone's attention on voting for other people other than yourself.
"So you found Stabby innocent, and still voted for him repeatedly, I know you had suspicions for other reasons, but that's still pretty risky."
It might be risky but I've found that my instincts are pretty darn good in this game. I think most everyone knows from my voting habits in the past that I tend to keep voting for the same person if I think they are mafia. I decided to let up on Stabby since he did vote but now I wish I had pursued it. It caused me to vote for TVMan an innocent and now I'm still unsure about Stabby.
You're record on the other hand. You've voted for 18 Days (innocent), Dasmos (unknown), Spak-Spang (innocent), TVMan (innocent), Stevey (unknown), Khushrenada (Fox McCloud). I think your voting record clearly shows that you are out to raise votes against innocent people. Frankly, with what has happened now, it seems pretty clear my instincts were right. I don't need another vote against me but where's Stabby? Oh, he's posting that he's Fox McCloud and trying to make a joke of this whole thing also. Perhaps in an effort to help save a mafia buddy? Maybe to keep people from believing that what I'm saying is true?
"That is the biggest stretch of all, you suspected me, and yet you told me your role, without even investigating me. I know you are a very smart mafia player (and you have proven it with this genious story) I know you of all people would never tell a suspected mafia member your role."
This statement here is a falsification of what happened between us. It did not go down as you have stated. I never said I suspected you when I pm'd you. I only said that I was wondering if you could tell me why you were voting the way you were. I told you that I didn't want to start raising suspicion against you and have everyone focusing on someone innocent instead of the mafia. Even though your answers weren't great, they seemed honest enough. So, that'sa when I told you about my plan for a townie alliance. I also figured it was save to tell you that I was Fox McCloud for two reasons:
1. If you were mafia and killed me during the night, you would have been immediately suspected by 18 Days, who knew I was Fox McCloud and who I knew was an innocent. I see you killed 18 Days during the night and now you are trying to get me voted out because I know you are mafia, thereby ending the growing threat to you.
2. Even if you were mafia, I figured you would let me live because you would have thought that you were able to slip into the townie alliance and therefore not be suspected. Then you could try to manipulate the townie alliance.
The sum of my arguements and how you should vote
It was a calculated risk but one I felt confident in taking. Once you found out I would investigate you, then you started this whole thing of quickly trying to kill me. I have to admit. This is one of the wierdest mafia tactics I've ever seen someone do. But I understand why. It guarentees an innocent death now, then everyone votes for you next day and you give your remaining member a shot at winning it all on the last day. Best of all, you keep the doctor from being able to hook up with anyone.
And the truth is, I can't argue with Zach's logic. I used that logic all the time in past mafia games. It is a good point. Why not wait and see. Well, I'll tell you why. Unlike previous mafia games, we don't have the luxury of waiting around to see who's right. I just outlined why in the above paragraph. I don't want this going to the last day and hoping the townies can pick off the one in four mafia member.
But I am reasonable. Let's face it. Fox McCloud's power is over. The only person I can locate now is the doctor but he will come forth on his own now. That's the only benefit I have left and the one the mafia is trying to prevent. If I live, it will give the doctor an opportunity to hook up with me (Fox) and form an alliance. Killing me keeps the doctor alone.
Still, if you are unsure that I'm innocent, then vote for me. It may seem silly but I know I'm innocent and it will expose Zach either way. Even if I die, I can still get a win with the townies, so I'm not to concerned about if I live or die. Unlike Zach. Plus, if I'm right about Zach and Stabby, it means that the mafia will lose in the next two days. I'd just rather get rid of a mafia member now instead of pushing the game to the limit.
Oh, and ending your post with an insult. Classy.
