I like the idea of digital because I love having the game on the system without having to swap out a cartridge, but I still like having the physical copy as well.  I might get over that soon as space has become a big consideration, but it's going to be tough to break away.  It would be fantastic if I could buy the game physical and install it, but I guess it would be tough for Nintendo to stop people from giving out copies.  I'm probably going to move to digital for games that I don't have to own the cartridge--maybe Professor Layton, which I've never even played--but I can't see giving up having Zelda and Mario games in my possession, with the box art and everything.

Still, I bought NSMB2 digitally and love having it always there.

I've been playing games since the seventies.  I love Nintendo.  And yet, I've never once played a Pokemon game.  Nothing against them, I guess I was similarly out of the loop when they first came out and then figured I'd missed too much to get in on it.

This was the reason I bought my 3DS to begin with.  I watched an analysis video on YT last night and saw some things I don't remember, like the Yosphinx.  It looks good.

I had $20 left on my eShop account, so I figured spending $20 today was better than $40 for the physical.  Plus, I'm that much closer to 900 if they offer the gold nunchuk again.  I've played and enjoyed 1-1 and 1-2 so far.  No idea how long it took to download, as I set it up and went to eat.

I've never played a Rayman game.  This'll be my first, unless I buy the previous one for my 360.

Do you think the 900 coin gold nunchuk was added right now to encourage people to download NSMB2?  I mean, I'm 260 coins shy, and that 100 coins is kind of tempting (though, I'm pretty sure I'm getting the physical cart).

I must be unusual.  3DS reviews always say, "I played with 3D on most of the time" or "The 3D effect wasn't noticeable enough for me to even bother using it."  If it's a 3D game, I use it 100% of the time.  I feel like I'm crippling the game if I disable it--it's sort of akin to playing with the sound off. I guess many do it to save battery life, but I usually play the system at home anyway.  I bought it for the games, not the portability.

I don't think I can make it.   I've got like 520 coins, and some unregistered games, but I doubt if it's enough.  If the 3DS case was any indication, I'll have to hope this is reoffered later.

That's probably the answer right there.  Digital means the end of going to the store to buy a game, and the card is Nintendo throwing the store a bone.  The stores know that's only a temporary situation, and that once most people become accustomed to downloading, they'll just do it from home.  If they can make the cartridges cheaper, they'll continue to encourage their customers to buy from them. 

It's encouraging that the clerks in Japan are just as clueless as American kids.  The media acts like it's only us who would have clerks who wouldn't know where things are located or even what they are.

Visually, it looks pretty good.  Kind of Super Mario Galaxy with Wind Waker cel-shading.  The trailer I saw didn't show show off the RPG elements.

Yeah, me too.  I have a bunch of registrations stockpiled to go towards next year.  Of course, a lot of them will be netting me fewer coins than expected.  It'll be interesting to see what prize we will be getting this year.

It could be that these booth reps just don't know 100% what they're talking about.  At least, I hope that's the case when they say no black Wii U at launch while the system images on the official site are of the black version.

You have to track down Thousand Year Door.  It is one of the best games ever made, period.  If you're patient, I would be surprised if it isn't in the Wii U's virtual console.
