Nintendo is offering a discount to Splatoon Testfire participants who didn't buy the game initially to try and get them to jump in.

The North American branch of the eShop is offering a 20% discount on the game through the 16th of November to anyone who participated in the Splatoon Global Testfires this spring. The reduction would make the title $47.99 US or $55.99 Canadian.

We are still trying to determine whether simply downloading the Testfire app would be sufficient to trigger the discount, whether or not the user took part.
