Topic: Wii Play: Motion European Release Announced

European Wii fans will not have to wait long to experience this MotionPlus-enhanced game.

Wii Motion: Plus has been given an European release date of June 24, 2011.

The game is the sequel to Wii Play, which was originally released in 2007 and included a Wii Remote. Wii Play: Motion uses MotionPlus for its 12 mini-games, many of them created by developers outside of Nintendo. While a Japanese and North American release date was known, a release date for Europe wasn't announced until now.

European players will receive a red Wii Remote Plus controller with their copy of the game.

Some of the game description sound good.  I rather have a red Wiimote Plus instead of a black one hear in the states.

If the US version came with any colour of Wiimote besides white or black (I have two of each) then I'd be tempted to get it instead of waiting for a cheap used game. Since FlingSmash has a black one in it, it doesn't make much sense that this game has the same colour.

Y'see, I'm the oposite: I've recently replaced my launch Wii, with its dying disc drive, with a shiny, sexay black one. It came with a black WR+ and I really, really don't want a red one complementing it. Methinks us Aussies will be thrown in with the European stuffs as always. Most unfortunately. Most.

A red Motion Plus? Sexy. Yeah, I'll pick this up. Nintendo should offer up a gold Motion Plus with Skyward Sword.
