Yes but with the Wii Motion Plus Wii Sports Boxing could provide a great framework for this game.

I am saying that would be how multiplayer could work. Ok imagine the arcade game.Picture how the game has Little Mac at the bottom of the screen and your adversary across from Little Mac. It is similar to boxing in wii sports. Also as Golden said the Wiimotion plus can make the dodges and punches quicker and more fluid.

Ian how would you imagine multiplayer to work?

I actually think it'd be interesting in that respect, something like a fighting game, where each character has basic moves and special moves, but the special moves have more predictable patterns and weaknesses, so you have to strategize accordingly.

The only way multiplayer could work with the Punch-Out game mechanics is if you had a split screen, or if it was online or something so that the player would be behind Little Mac (their character), but for the other player it would be just the opposite.

But split screen type games suck, so this would only really be a good idea with online or networked play, where each player gets to have the whole screen for viewing. That said, maybe multiplayer in this game should be exclusively online?

I'm sure he gets a lot of sun running through the city with Doc beside him on a bicycle.

You could do local multiplayer as a split-screen time attack to see who can beat a fighter the fastest.

For online multiplayer, they really need to include a create-a-fighter mode that allows you to make some hilarious creations. I would structure a system that would let you register in a weight division, and then have a regional ladder system that allowed you to fight three or four people for a lower belt, fight three more and win a belt, fight three more and win the championship. Like a regional tournament, and then once you win the championship you can fight whoever you want, or enter world tournaments.

Little Mac was black all along. He just had that skin condition that Michael Jackson has, but he managed to get it treated.

Silks I like your idea of the local multiplayer.
To add to the create-a-fighter idea I would like a mode where you can fight your creations,give it different tendencies and special moves and send it online to share.

Oh man, that would be awesome. Craft a fighter and then see how it fares against human competition. Kind of like a user-generated Bangai-O Spirits level.

After watching the trailer many times I noticed that when Glass Joe is flying through the air and the croissants are flying around him. Glass Joe's nose is moving left and right. Also his hair in the first shot is moving when he gets hit.Also Von Kaiser's reaction when Little Mac dodges Kaiser's uppercut.King Hippo's eyes are moving in and out when Little Mac hits him in his gut.

Just some little touches I noticed.

Although the balance board does make sense for this, I hope you can play with-out. The graphics are some of the cleanest I've seen on the wii yet.
