WayForward's website now shows some interesting new info about the anticipated sequel to Mighty Switch Force.

In a switch from chasing down escaped convicts and battling robotic enemies, Patricia Wagon and Corporal Gendarmor have been recruited into the Planet Land Fire Brigade as a blaze threatens to burn Tangent City to ashes.

The Hooligan Sisters from the first game are now reformed citizens in distress, and Patty must rescue them while solving puzzles and discovering the hidden USBs (Ugly Secret Babies) in each level.

The site promises new puzzle types, weapons, enemies and unlockable content.

While a release date is still up in the air, the game is expected to hit "this Spring", and has been confirmed for release in North America, Europe and Australia.
