My question is how many blocks are in a megabyte or maybe how many megabytes are in a block? Thnx.

Well blocks aren't actual computer measurements, just some arbitrary division for the sake of practicality.  But consider the basic 59-block memory card is 4Mb, which is equivalent to half a megabyte (8 bits per byte; lowercase b is bit, uppercase B is byte).  But there might be some other wacky explanation because N64 memory cards really confused me with the whole pages and notes setup.

One Memory Card 59 is 4 Megabits. There are actually a total of 64 blocks on each card, but 5 are reserved for file format information, so they aren't included in the total block count. If you'll notice the Memory Card 251. It should actually be 256 blocks, but subtracts out 5 for file formatting. So a Memory Card 59 (64 blocks) = 4 Megabits = 1/2 a Megabyte. There would therefore be 128 blocks in 1 Megabyte. Though if this were used as a memory card there would only be 123 blocks visible on the card + the 5 reserved for file format info.

So a Card 251 is 2 megabytes.  How large are PS2 and X-box savecards?

PS2 and Xbox cards are 4x our 4x card, or 8MB.  This is why they cost more, but still a better value when you consider the price/capacity ratio.

Pick up Nyko(I think) 64MB card ($19.99) if you are into sports games. I have 2 Madden Franchises, 1 NCAA Dynasty, Metroid Prime, Zelda, Beach Spikers, and 3 Mario Party Files all on one card. I still have about 340 blocks left...here is a link:
