Ah...the infamous Cocoto Platform Jumper.  James is going to have a field day after this after making fun of it in RFN 103.

Yet another reason why we need "James Jones Box Hunter 2". Episode 103 forevar!

Nice, I'm all over those then.

What was on the pre-order disc then? I want to know what I lost.

I never played RCR back in the day but when it came out on VC a friend got it and I played through most of it with him. I had a blast, I do think having a buddy to play along makes or breaks this game.

I second River City Ransom!

Vote Stratos! Uhhh..wait... ;)

OK, glad that was a joke because I am considering vowing to bandwagon anyone that votes for you in the early game as a way for making up to you for pushing to out you last game. I still feel a bit bad about that one.

Poor little chomp doggie.

This thread is terrible.

Congratulations!

Congratulations!

You are terrible...unless you do some more rants on the 'cast and host "James Jones Box Hunter 2", then you can be awesome.

I'll write you fan mail if you do.

Suggest changing the name of the day to Round 1?

Seconded. I like that idea.

Well, the size variation adds a new dynamic to the matter, but I still have an issue with it. I'm just not comfortable with it.

Though I just remembered that stock photography places like iStock will only send members a check with their commission cash once they earn a total of $100. They will not cut a check for less though that is in part to keep people from constantly requesting $50, $30 or even $10 checks all the time. I think it may also ensure that they are getting submitters who will stick with it long enough to earn said amount. My roommate submits a lot of photos and gets a few $100 a year right now. The guy that introduced it to him makes around $1200 a month doing it.

You are mistaken that the Wii does not have a 'hardcore' fanbase. Multiple people on this site call themselves that name.

Also, Madworld is a brawler. Few brawlers are able to move successfully beyond niche sales status.

And why should Nintendo give ad support to 3rd parties when half of them won't even try to do it themselves (Tenchu 4).

I think it's a nice farewell tribute to Bill. Something like a mural for his contribution to the forums.

We just need to turn this thread into a collection of pictures and things he liked and it would me like a memorial to Bill.

Okay but you have to agree to not use devious tactics.

Ah dirty floors, you quoted my grammatical error...

Now to be quoted for time immemorial. :)

But I LIKE devious tactics like hiding proximity mines in the shadows. That was always fun to do in Goldeneye with the cave level. To move anywhere you had to throw mines to set off others that were already set. If there are proxy mines in Conduit then maybe you could use the 'All Seeing Eye' tool to detect them.

Have HVS talked at all about special weapons like mines and rockets or anything? Seeing the alien teck makes me think of the alien weapons from Perfect Dark.

I'm all for supporting the local little poeple, but not blindly. They have to offer something at a competitive rate or have quality service. I won't support an independent coffee shop if their employees are rude to me or they charge a ridiculous amount over another place. Just because a store is little or local does not give it a divine right to exist. It has to fill a need.

It's also 'not fair' that people who live in Vancouver, Washington travel to Portland, Oregon to shop without taxes. We should require Portland businesses to check ID and if a person is from Vancouver the business should charge the appropriate tax and send it to Washington's capital. Because not doing that is unfair to Vancouver, WA businesses because Portland businesses undercut them.

What you are saying is quite close to the same idea except in an online context.

Well, the site formerly known as WiiWare World gave Adventure Island score of 7. Sounds like they made the game way too easy with super upgrades and an already low difficulty curve.

I hope Icarian has a more challenging difficulty level.

You sound like a very devious player. Remind me not to play The Conduit with you.

But...but, I WANT to play Conduit with you Mop it up. It would be fun.  :'(

They were exotic torture devices and booby traps. Sit down in one and someone sneaks up behind you and BANG! They shoot the chair, it blows up and you die. Even the body armor blew up. In multiplayer I would destroy the extra one if I already had some on so no one else could use it.

But man, who didn't love shooting all of those monitors?

Sometimes I would go through levels and try to destroy every object in them from glass to tables and monitors and lights. Good fun.

I have Blitz 2002. Only non-Mario sports game I own (not counting Wii Sports).
I love it. That is how real football should be played.

I've heard of Clearwire and I may do that and forgo getting cable. Another friend uses it as well. Is if fast enough to work well for online games? I will want to use it to play Steam games, Wii and DS.

I've played Team Fortress 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV online and never experienced any lag.

Cool, sounds like I might go with that.

So you can earn multiple wins the higher you get in a race? I guess that 250 is more feasable than I thought.

I use Craigslist to job hunt and it does draw a lot of attention. One of the places I attempted to apply at cut off their cut off date way early because they got over 150 apps. This was days early too. It is know to some as the 'Craigslist effect'.

If I lived there I would be all over it. Though I am near Redmond and NoA headquarters though if you need someone there... ;)

They do have safety measure in place so that you don't have to give out too much personal information though. They have an automated email system where potential applicants won't find out what your e-mail is if you don't want it given away.
