IMPRESSIONS: Tech Demo: 3D Paddleball

What better a game to demonstrate the new system than one of the earliest video games, Pong?

One of the tech demos at Nintendo's 3DS booth was essentially a first-person version of Pong.  It is very similar to this Flash game, but in 3D, of course.  Players moved their translucent paddle using the stylus.  The ball appeared to move backward and forward in 3D, increasing in speed with each bounce.  Though the game was over after a couple points, it did a good job demoing the 3D capability of the system, making it feel like the ball was really bouncing up and down in front of your face.

I'm sad I missed this game.  I didn't even know about it until the show was over.
