I agree with Khushrenada that this artstyle has great potential for remakes as well as new games. The game looks like something you'd dream would one day be possible in 2D games, back in the early/mid 1990s.
The preview was confusing however. In some ways it made it seem like the game was close to release (such as having a demo). In other ways, the working title aspect (despite having a trademark!) and the survey, make it seem like the game has a good ways to go. I would like to think early 2018, no later than March, but maybe there's still a ton of development ahead.
