The mech is the airship, why do people expect the airship to be unlocked from the start? It's standard RPG design.

This game was announced pretty much 3 years ago, now that it's a few days away I don't know what to do with myself. Do I savour it? Do I blast through it in 10 hour play sessions? I don't want to burn my self out on something I've been looking forward to for so long but on the other hand I just wanna sit down and play and play until I develop deep vein thrombosis.

You may have already noticed but Nintendo's proprietary Wii U discs have curved rounded edges unlike a typical straight edge disc, it's weird.

16 mins of footage showing off some of the new additions, although I don't think a game like SMT comes across well in a video, if you want to understand what's so great about it you really need to play it for yourself.

The hot take segment sneak preview is amazing, and I have a few hot takes of my own regarding Metroid Prime. Schedule permitting I look forward to sharing them.

Xenoblade is £9 or €10 on the Wii U EU eshop, and 5x that amount on Amazon, today only. That's one hell of a bargain, if you haven't experienced Xenoblade Chronicles yet I truly envy you.

To be honest I feel that in some ways the games succeeding it are lacking though. The seemingly random removal of features like the ability for Pokemon to follow you, the pokephone, the pokeradio, the ability to play retro or modern music, the pokewalker, the ability to rematch gym leaders and a bloody toggleable run button!

I beat the main story of Dragon Quest 8. Just an incredible game with tons of humour and personality, 125 hours flew by like it was nothing. Now bring on the post game!

"Lucas is a clone" There's a scrub quote if I've ever seen one, literally incorrect.

You could try a Wii disc if you have one of them lying around.

Is it actually possible to get through this part without taking damage?
https://youtu.be/GVSZuDGd49YY
I'm taking about the mines at 1:58, the person on the video just switches to Isa and takes the hits with his health, but I haven't unlocked that yet.
I'm on hard, playing as Kachi, stage 5, using Wii remote controls, I'm using jump and dodge and all that. But the mines seem like they are far too narrow and your character always wants to veer to the middle for some reason making it impossible to get in the lane, stay in it and then react fast enough to get into the next one. I've looked through FAQs and videos online but I haven't been able to see anyone get through it without just having a full health bar and brute forcing it.

Oppai Appraisal
-The items you obtain in the dungeons will appear as "Unidentified Crystals" their name and effects are not known. In order to reveal these items, you can appraise them by using Omega Power. To do this, you place the crystallized item between your character's breasts and shake. If you stimulate the crystal enough, filling with Omega Power, the item will steadily expand. Shake it to it's limit and the item will be revealed.

Perhaps the boobiest thing I've ever read.

I'm curious what made Happy Home Designer a smash hit and amiibo festival a disaster day of crisis mega-bomb. They are both fairly shallow games that don't offer nearly as much value as the main series, of course due to install base and price, the 3ds game would always outsell the Wii U game, but even percentage wise amiibo festival is still awful. I think ND Cube missed the mark on what makes Animal Crossing fans excited and the messaging behind amiibo festival was all wrong.

I own Mario Kart DS and pretty much hate it, but there is something about 8 that makes me love it. There is a sense of speed and the tracks feel alive with lots of movement and animation, whereas DS feels very static and just dull. I suppose I like 64 and Double Dash but mostly for the battle mode and co-op mode respectively.

I am mostly against strategy guides, at least following them to a tee and perfectly min maxing a character so they can blast through the game. But for Xenoblade 3d if I run through an area 1 or 2 times and can't find an item or NPC I'm looking for I wouldn't hesitate to open the internet browser and just look it up on a wiki.

Just a heads up to anyone but the gamepad it's self is region locked so these aren't importable.
