Twitter doesn't make sense until you get an iPhone.  Then, everything changes.  The ability to set up what is effectively an RSS feed of your thoughts is pretty damn fun, and can also be incredibly useful...and addictive.
Then how does a Wii version make sense? It seems to spit in the face of the convenient aspect of it.

This seems largely superfluous, I don't really see the point.
I said that about the entirety of Twitter.
I've never even heard of Twitter prior to this announcement. The Internet has reached a new low, which is really saying something.
And you tell me Trackmania can't be big because you've never heard of it?
I don't follow Internet fads either, and I highly doubt this is as big as FaceBook or MySpace and I can only hope it doesn't get there...

A Wii version doesn't make sense and I'll never use it.  But people were bagging on Twitter as an overall concept and I was like, "Wait a minute...if you haven't used it on a cell phone you've never really seen its full potential."

Twitter is the stupidest thing i've seen in a long time. The whole concept is worthless. Why should I give a damn what you are doing right now? I'm just hoping it's a fad and goes away.

Anyways Lindy, do you see yourself using the possible DS version?

It's not necessarily about what you're doing, it's more about what you're thinking. It's a blog with a 140 character limit per post.

The only real use I could see of Twitter is for stuff like GDC speeches where you would like to quickly post what is happening there. The majority of Twitter stuff is worthless from what I have seen. I guess my only real problem is the people who act like it's a major thing that everyone should be doing and that's in the next big thing.

Someone built a device that will automatically post on Twitter when you fart. I think that says it all.

Well if you're going to write something off because you can do something really stupid with it you shouldn't be using the internet at all because there are some incredibly stupid things on there.

A DS version makes a little more sense, though is still redundant considering how everyone who isn't me has a cellular phone.

I wouldn't use a DS version either, because I don't have my DS with me all the time like I do my iPhone.  Part of the beauty of Twitter is its immediacy.

Twitter   is hardly ever used, well as soon as on everyone   else.  Twitter   is a free Wii-centric bloglet website,   based on the popular   Twitter.
