For most of North America, Payday hit on Tuesday. For me, it was yesterday.

Another week, another double-digit set of games hit the Switch. The biggest release of the week, depnding on your point of view, is either the retail release du semaine in Payday 2, or the big indie title Mulaka. Casey and John have you covered on those review fronts. If you're looking for something that even my sorry rear end can finish in an afternoon, there's also Subsurface Circular.
Other intriguing propositions this week include Totes the Goat from Jools Watsham - who by the way, will be dropping a Switch version of Chicken Wiggle on Kickstarter next week - and mech design game Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo which might be familiar to the Vita fans in the audience. There are dozens of us. Dozens. There's also an Alliance Alive demo on 3DS - sadly, unlike the Sega family's other demo on another platform this week it actually is just a demo - while the Archives add 31-in-1 veteran Star Force and Sengoku II.
Europe gets the jump on North America with The Trail: Frontier Challenge. Since it came from a development studio (22Cans) with a propensity for, shall we say, exaggerated claims from their public face, they didn't hype this game at all on Switch before shadow-dropping it. In late breaking news, there's also a demo for Kirby: Star Allies. Japan has an educational theme going on with three levels of math, engineering in Dragon Quest Builders (your eyes are not deceiving you, the West got it three weeks ago) and biology with Doom.
