Thanks a lot Vudu.

I've been unbelievably bored today, so I decided to create one of these fancy randomly-switching author icons for use on another forum I visit. Here it is for those who are curious:



Many pics of a purple Birdo, because purple Birdo is awesome... and purple. Refresh the page to cycle through them, 15 in all. They are as large as 150x150, so I couldn't use them on this forum even if I wanted to.

If anyone has any advice on what I should do with the website I just registered, I'm all ears.

I have a new avatar picked out, but I don't want to "reveal" it until E3

I'm still waiting on those "custom titles" from the "custom title" thread to get put in place too.
Do the mods ever check that thread or are they just ignoring it out of lazyness?

LOL I emulated Pro for a bit. But I did it with Grunty (banjo kazooie) and randomized the images and what not, and even got the title "HI I'M GRUNTY" for a subtitle.  It was good fun. I'd do it again.

The random author icon thing is not easy, so if you don't plan to use it permanently then it probably isn't worth creating. I don't know how long it is going to last either... I read the ToS on the free website-hosting service that I signed up for, and it says that websites will be deleted after an "extended period of inactivity". Real vague there... but if I don't actually use the webspace for something, then I don't think I'll have it for long.

Bottom line is, if you don't already have your own webpage somewhere then you can't easily create and keep a random-cycle author icon. NinGurl69*huggles has his own website that he uses for his.
