Plot summary:
Your a person who just got laid off from work, due to a legal agreement, you still get paid well but not enought that it boosts you bank balance, your bored as hell, so you decide to get a dog...you have 1,000 dollars to spend due to the settlement

Graphics:
From the first time you play this game, you will be amazed by the graphics, the dogs are amazingly detailed and very pretty looking, sadly the same thing isnt true for the house you live in, Bunch of sprites thrown together, which often shows blacklines
Same could be said for the floor of the game, It looks like a 100meg video compressed into a 3meg file at times.

Woof factor:
The game is all about getting to train your puppy, there are basicly 3 different ways of doing this
* Speed and strength - Walking you dog alot, training it to chase items at the park
* obedience - Training you dog to do what you say, rewarding it for chasing a ball with a treat or pat, this leads it to become your puppy slave
* Call center lady - Training you dog tricks and giving them voice commands, the dog will learn these commands and give you weird looks when you dont pronounce them in the right way

The main aim of the game is to Pat, teach voice commands and walk it minaly
Patting your dog is a great expience, your dog will shine when it hits its puppy orgasm of happyness, With a sprite bone popping up sometimes, which you can feed your puppy
the problem with patting you dog is that they mapped the dog's feel structure weirdly, you can pat the dogs side from the front and the dog will count it as a under the head rub.
The teaching aspect is well done, The game explains how to pull of the tricks using the stylus, after you pull of the trick, a light blub will pop up, giving you about 10secs to say the command, thankfully the mic's low quality is a blessing because if you have a sore throat or mess up the way you pronounce the word, it will come out the same due to the low sample rate of the audio.
Walking the dog was added for you puppy to meet other dogs but sadly the people you meet always give you the same boring advice and there dogs are a pain due to the fact they give your dog flea's, The walking quickly become a quest to collect all the items, due to the fact you only collect about 4items a harf hour makes it fun and something to becomes obbsessive

competition:
To win money, after you train your puppy there are 3 competitions to enter
*Disc - throw a disk and watch you dog catch it, its the same mini game for the different ranks, only thing that changes is the score of the other dogs, which you sadly never see.
*obedience course- bunch of hurdles and a few pipes and see-saws, set up seems a bit random and again you never see the other dogs
*simon says- baised around giving you dog commands and showing of advanced commands like backflips

Audio:
The audio in this game is very simple, It does the job well
The minus of audio is that it will get a bit boring, hearing just barks and cars and planes could of been pulled off better
but you may ask "but I saw a record player pic on pgc and other sites" I was excited too, but no these musicial items are useless, many needing stylus whinding or have bad/quite audio

Gameplay:
This game will keep you busy for a week or 2 at the most, very addictive at the start
much like animal crossing will keep you busy and is fun to play on a rainy day, but without having to pull grass

8.5/10
