Did you hear the news? Fox TV has just bought all the rights to every holiday special. That means, there will be only one channel to watch all your holiday classics. (Another Brilliantly bad decision by the management.) There is just one problem...there is not enough hours in the day to show each classic...and this fact has hit the North Pole very hard.

The Holiday Characters are all discussing what this means to their yearly royalty checks, and the future of their show being a holiday tradition. Some Holiday characters are even willing to kill for their show to survive!!! And worse, a group have formed into a deadly Mafia that are slowly going to eliminate all holiday specials from the lineup.

Can the other Holiday characters find and eliminate the holiday mafia before it is too late?

Ok, DAY ONE starts early. Everyone start your voting.

Just a side note...each townie got a unique Townie role like Townie Hobo or what not...so each PM is different. It still just means you are a regular Townie...it does not mean you have a special role unfortunately.

Also, if you ask anyone to PM them a screen capture proof of their identity you will be killed in this game. All that person has to do is report it to me, with ironically enough a screen capture of the PM. I will give you a chance to confirm you did or did not do this...but just don't cheat ok.

And Mafia you can ask me to give you a special fake Townie Role to give to other people. So that won't work either.

But seriously, some doctor protection would be appreciated. And why you ask? Well, I don't like to normally post my role but unfortunately, in this situation, this is the smartest course of action for me.

I am the brother. Check the roles. There is a brother/sister role. Why would I reveal this info so soon in the game?

As most of the regulars are aware, I am often a prime target in this game. Now, normally, I do not recieve an important role to the townies like doctor or cop. However, in this case, I have been given a role that is of some benefit to the townies. I know one other person who is beyond a doubt a townie. And with that, a townie alliance can be formed. In addition, my death would cause the death of not one but two townies. That is great boost to the mafia. In addition, it removes me from the game. Another benefit to the mafia as previous games have shown.

Obviously, I have just made myself a huge target for the mafia and made a pretty convincing arguement as to why they should put a hit out on me tonight. Considering it's the first day and there's no good indication as to who may have what role, giving away my townie role really puts me out there.

But, if you just think about it logically, it's probably the best shot for the townies. If I keep my role hidden, it may take awhile to find out that I can be trusted, it may take awhile for the investigator to verify my role and I could end up killed before a townie alliance can get going and that makes it a loss of two townies. But, by laying everything on the line at the beginning of the game like this, it is the best move I can make.

Here's why:

It gets the townie alliance started right away which is essential for victory.
The investigator can verify me right away as being the townie brother if he still doesn't trust me.
With the help of the doctor, I can hopefully thwart the mafia hit attempts since I have now made myself a prime target by naming my role.
With mafia hits wasted on me, the brother/sister alliance stays safe and the alliance keeps a strong core.
With mafia hits and maybe even killer hits wasted on me, more townies will last through the night.

My only hope is that the doctor and investigator read this and act before the day is done. It's risky move to put myself out in the open like this but the reward is huge. Please recognize that this is logical and truthful. If I was not the brother, I would not claim to be so on the first day. Think about it. If I was not the brother, the real brother and sister team would know that I am lying right now. I would not ask the investigator to verify my claim because if he did and any other role came up for me, I would be toast.

This is kind of a long post and I'm sorry for that. This is my one chance to really state my case since I won't be on again until later tomorrow and so I don't want the doctor to miss this message. Please. Protect me. It just makes the most sense.

Why Darkheart? Like most of my first day votes, no solid reason. But when reading the names of the players, something about his name struck me. And since my instincts have worked many times before, I'll follow them again this game.

I wonder if Khush is trying to get the real brother and sister to show themselves and slip up so his mafia crew can take out two people at once. It could also get the investigator exposed because if it isn't him he'll want to tell everyone. Meanwhile the other mafia wont risk killing him assuming the doctor falls for it. It seems like the first day is just a guessing game, which kinda sucks because this is a prize mafia and being voted out on a whim is possibly the sh!ttiest way to go out in this game. That said, I un-vote stevey. No hard feelings bro.

Actually, I don't think I've ever died from the day one vote, and the only time I did day on day one was from a mafia hit. And that was only once. So, since it's not tradition, Kashogi, you can go ahead and vote for me for now.

I just thought I'd add that out there. If we'd like to start tradition, go ahead, I'm clueless so far, so it's no big deal to vote me out over anyone else. I'm basing my vote on Khush's just because he's got a good story, and no one else is claiming to be the brother to contradict him, nor is the sister saying anything, apparently. I figure someone would speak up if he's not lying, so we've got no reason to distrust him.

People always vote in patterns on day one, though. For instance, stevey always votes Khush until there's reason to keep Khush alive. I usually try to throw a random vote out there to get someone to talk to me, until I see that stevey's voted Khush, then I vote stevey until stevey folds. After that, I try to work with someone to pick out a good target. I haven't spoken too much today, I've PM'ed a few people, but most have said they don't want to work with me, so I went with what Khush said, plain and simple, because I know one think: If Khush is the brother, he wouldn't vote off the sister, so the person he's voting for is less likely to have a townie role than anyone else, though only slightly. If anyone has anything better to say, I'll gladly listen, toss me a PM. But at any rate, as far as I'm aware, no one's got any reason to vote for anyone right now. I haven't formulated a strategy or a group yet, I figure I'll run through Khush on this one, since he's the one that's pretty much already proven to be legit.

What the heck are you talking about? I'm a mafia member and I'm going to lie that I'm the borther so that I can kill two townies and maybe the investigator? Great, I kill those two townies, I get exposed as not being the brother, and then I get killed. Bravo. What a play. Meanwhile, the killer, bomber, doctor, witness, vigilante and maybe the investigator are still left in the game. But I got rid of two townies who's only advantage is that they know one another. What a coup. They were obviously more threatening to the mafia than any of those other roles.

And there is only one mafia, not two.

Looks like your just trying to create suspicion in the hopes that people don't help me out. Why is that? Are you mafia perhaps?
