It's looking like the Switch will sell will into the Switch 2's early years. With cross gen gaming so much more of a thing these days I have to imagine some of Nintendo's smaller titles will get duel Switch/Switch2 releases.

What was the wording in regards to Pokemon Legends Z? Releasing simultaneously world wide? Simultaneously where? The Light and the OLED? That type of wording appears very deliberate and tells me we will see a Switch version and Switch 2 version for legends.

Games like that and the usual evergreens will probably keep late adopters coming and busy.

Damn, I entered this thread and read the old messages from 2010 not realizing they were old and thought that they prices had bottomed out on adapters based off Mop it up's prices.

I've heard the used/retro games market has bottomed out a bit as folks that caught the fever during the pandemic (or trying to make a quick buck) have started cashing out so maybe these could drop a bit in the future?

Glad you get enjoyment out of it.

My understanding of the criticism is that it isn't due to the lack of "real gameplay" but because they used random generation and possibly AI to make the undersea world instead of hand crafting it like in previous games. Just seems to suck the soul out of the experience compared to the previous ones.

I basically think of it as an NES Remix 3.

Since they didn't go with that name, there's a sliver of hope we'll see other editions... but I'm with you - I doubt it.

I find it most funny that only one of the original three titles are even in this edition.
