A game I'd throw a party to have people come play/watch.

TP was a party game for me, since people loved watching and helping solve puzzles as I played through it.

These days, a party game would have to be absolutely amazing, since I seldom if ever have time to invite people over to play games anymore.

A Party Game can have several Definitions but the simplest definition is:  A Party is a Game designed to be enjoyed by several people at once, either by incorporating local multi-player options or designed to be fun for watchers when it is a single player experience.
