Nintendo Gaming / RE:Wii sport baseball question~help!!!
« on: February 03, 2007, 09:42:58 AM »
Bottom Line: Wii Sports Rules.......Nintendo might rip us off on other games but this one is worth every penny.

Enough of my BS here are my answers to your Qs:

Q: (1) Is maximum speed of pitch related to the points?
Would you mind telling me your average speed of pitch?

A: (1)  I cannot answer your question directly....but I have noticed the more spastic the movement the quicker the pitch.  As for the points Nintendo has a secret file just for spastic twitches and rates them: the more spastic the higher score.

Q: (2)Are batting power and defence also related to points?

A: (2) Yes, but remember if there is a super-spastic newcomer in Wii sports they will have the ability to surmount any amount of points.

Wii sports is the best game ever because it makes a spastic person like me feel better inside.

Notice: This reply was not a direct result of persons inhibitions unleased due to a result of alcohol.

Truth be told: the only reason why we never converted to metric is because we are proud of our stubbroness.

i thought is supported up to 4gb cards

You are right....I did find a 4gb card that the Wii supports (the only reason I know because it works in my Wii ):
4GB 150X QMEMORY SECURE DIGITAL CARD.

I found mine at this website:
http://www.flash-memory-store.com/qmemory-sd-150x-4gb.html

Some of you probably already know this by now and think it's old news....but its good for anyone who didn't already know and wants to put down around $70 for more room .
And let me know if any of you all find this card for a cheaper price because I may want to buy one in the future for my brothers Wii (that did't sound right).

blarg, I hope that wireless sensor bar comes out soon.

As you may know, my entertainment set up is... not the norm.  Part of this set up has the feed that goes into my television split so that it goes into my TV in the Living Room (where my Wii is) and into my bedroom where I have a second TV.  Now, I knew all along that I wouldn't be able to play most games from my bedroom, but after downloading Bonk's Adventure, I had planned to play a little of it last night before going to bed.

So I grab a Wii controller, turn on the system and go to the bedroom... only to find that you need the sensor bar to navigate the Wii Channel Menu!  No!!!!

But then I got smart and remembered that you can use the Classic Controller to navigate the menu... so I got back up, grabbed the classic con and was able to get Bonk's Adventure to load.  Yay!

So then I played through Bonk's Adventure some, created a save point and quit.  Before I went to bed, I wanted to see if I had gotten any Mii's.  Well, I had.  Unfortunatly, you cannot navigate from within the Mii channel without the sensor bar... no classic controller this time!

So, back up again I get.

Stupid Wii.  Should have bought a PS3.

***************************************************************************************************

Since the sensor bar sends out signals you may be abe to (with a little duct tape & one extra sensor bar) splice the sensor bar wire and run the wire to your extra TV...then you should have one Wii with 2 TVs an 2 Sensor bars.

Of course, you would be the 1rst to do this...so let me know if it works.

This Question may have been answered but can the Wii play Mp3 disks?

A Wii music channel?
I know it won't  play dvds but it would be a waste if it did not include support for reading cd-roms with mp3s and photos on them.
I know I'll know in a couple weeks.

Please let me know if you know -Thanks!!!

Tecmo Supporting Virtual Console!

Tecmo Super Bowl....Although EA may get the recognition/$ now....they will never amount to this game.
Can't wait to play it again and see if my memories lied to me or not.

Anybody think they will still support computer monitors?

11
Well.....didn't Nintendo say they would support computer monitors?
A good ole computer (svga) monitor is far better than any HD TV......the only reason this is true is because you already own it.
Just because the monitor is smaller than a HD TV means little (if your cheap like me) all you got to do is get closer to the screen and everthing will be allright........believe me I know.

As as matter of fact.....the only reason they made the HD-TV standard is to make a new market.........companies would make less $ if SVGA was adopted over HD-TV.  Thats one win for the lobbiest and corrupt politicians.  At least thats my theory (warning: I may be full of crap....of course I did not research this because I am to lazy

Yes, it is good to keep a good sense of humor....especially in this time in between of not knowing.  I just got a good feeling about the Revolution (I also wish I had a good feeling about my Lotto #'s)

Thanks for having the guts to show how you feel about
Texas.......and thanks for your (screename) I love the Doors too........Texas radio and the big beat, LA Woman, and MojoRising = Jim Morrison.

Yes i'm from Texas.......and if I sound dumb...thats because of my own stupidity (not because I'm from Texas or that I like sports teams).

And dont worry.....Texas will always support Nintendo.....and remember Retro studios is from Austin, Texas.

One more thing....Texas is good not evil (please believe me).

« on: May 27, 2005, 10:15:46 PM »
I know I dont have any facts to back it up........but after Nintendo released the GBA SP........I realized they are now on the right track.

We will find out the truth soon enough......but does anyone feel the way I do?

16
Sounds like good news.....competition always brings out the best in everything....it seems like Nintendo is now (finally) getting that competitive spirit.....and with that they will excel.

« on: May 27, 2005, 09:29:41 PM »
The day after Turkey day (in 2006)  is 12/01/2006.
The Revolution will need to be on store shelves before 12/01/2006 (for the American launch).....if Nintendo can pull that off they will be ok.

I think this next generation is launching too early.......I hope I'm right.....we will find out soon enough.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Rumours about a secret developer !?
« on: August 08, 2004, 02:24:05 PM »
Even if it is a rumour...if we keep on talking like its for real (which it may be) and spreading this rumour around then maybe Nintendo will think that it this is what we want and will do something about it....or maybe this is a bad idea and I should follow Optimus Primes (Shift Keys)advice.
