TalkBack / Re: Sonic Boom Interview with Evan Baily
« on: February 13, 2014, 04:36:49 PM »
I love that this guy seems to genuinely respect the Sonic franchise. He went back and played most of the games. That's worth a lot to me.

I love that he was asked about the previous Sonic shows, but why no mention at all of the longest running and most consistent iteration of Sonic, the Archie Comics series? There's your story and character driven Sonic tale which has gone on uninterrupted for decades. It always bothers me when Sonic fans sideline it. In my eyes, it's the core of Sonic.

TalkBack / Re: Nintendo Grants JAKKS Pacific Consumer Product Rights

JAKKS did some Dragon Ball Z toys years ago. I've lost track, but maybe they still hold that license? I liked those pretty well.

I have wanted a quality Nintendo action figure line since I was a little boy. If JAKKS makes them, I'll get them, and I hardly even collect toys anymore these days.

TalkBack / Re: Nintendo President Acknowledges Western Mother 3 Fans

I want to play the Mother series so badly, but I am faithfully holding out and refraining from playing the fan translated versions available online. At the very least, I would like to play Earthbound on Virtual Console as I missed it on Super Nintendo.

Come on, Nintendo, don't forget Chicago!

TalkBack / Re: Kirby Anniversary Collection Games Revealed

I think this looks like a nice collection of the core Kirby games, most of which I missed out on. I might want to get this.

I'm happy to hear news of any 3DS virtual console releases. These are both games I will actually consider buying too.

I've never even heard of this, but it looks awesome! I'm going to have to keep an eye on this one so it doesn't slip past me. I have a feeling this one might go kinda under the radar in terms of hype.

While I appreciate the sentiment behind the creation of these time tables, I live in Chicago where we use Central Time. I still have to look at these and figure out what time events will take place in my time zone for myself.

Man, what I wouldn't give for some decent Mario figures! No offense, but this series of figurines doesn't do it for me. They're too expensive for having no articulation or anything. If there is ever a proper line of action figures, I'll probably buy every single one of them.

I really loved the ToyBiz Mario Kart figures from years and years ago. Those are nice figures.

TalkBack / Re: Talking Pokémon with Serebii

I've been visiting Serebii for years. I never knew it was run by just one guy. That explains why the site is set up so poorly. I really think he should have a professional redesign the site, at least as a one time deal, and then move forward with that new design on his own again.

I guess this is just a straight tennis game? I was hoping for an RPG like the Game Boy Color Mario Tennis.
