There are already alot of rumors flying around about Ninteno's new console to run up against the Playstation 3 and XBox 2. I want to know what people think that Nintendo should do difftently this time around in terms of online play, connectivity, and games.

TalkBack / Camelot on Golden Sun 3 Status

What is Camelot doing?! Does it not see that this could be the boost that the GameCube needs for the RPG category?! Camelot also said that they are simply too busy to make a Golden Sun, but that is not a good reason at all! I honestly think that they should make a Golden Sun for the Gamecube, because the system is starving for a turn-based role-playing game(beside the dreamcast ports) so why are they making Mario Golf and Mario Tennis for? Give it to someone else to make!

I am not saying at ALL to change the battle system of Zelda or give Link a gun. Here is simply why majora's mask did not do well as ocarina of time... no adult Link (don't count in the firce desty's mask) think about it! Why do you think that most of the people who are buying Soul Calibor 2 are going for the GameCube version? Hmmmm... I have even seen that in polls that more people prefer Adult Link over the toon Link. I, for one, love the new Zelda game for the GameCube, but I feel that if Nintendo wants Zelda to reach the same amount of success as Ocarina of Time did, then they should simply make a Zelda series with graphical Link in it. But this dosn't mean that I think that they should throw cell shaded out the window, I think that they should still make installments of the cell-shaded Zelda, then they sould make a realistic game. I also don't think that they should also change the entire consept of Zelda to be"new", here is a good example of something new. I heard over the internet that how with the C-Stick the player could control Link's arm to preform certain attacks. That is something that I wanted when I suggested something new. What do you think?

TalkBack / Aonuma Confirms Wind Waker Sequel

Woah now doggy! I am not saying that they should destroy the classic Zelda gameplay, I am just suggesting that they take the series to the next level! Take Mario for example, when Super Mario Sunshine came out for the Nintendo GameCube, it stayed true to the good old red, white, and blue, and a bag full of chips that Mario 64 has! But one of the main reasons that it didn't sell like hotcakes was because it was the same concept. If games dont evolve and change, then we will have nothing new to expect from games. I dont want to think that in the next ten years the newest Zelda game will be about Link still having to save Zelda from Ganon while collecting heart pieces and rubees along the way. I am not saying that this method of gameplay is already worn out, but ir could possibly be if we dont kick it up a notch. I also made the suggestion about Square Enix and Namco, because they are very creative with games like XenoSaga and the Final Fantasy series. Do you not think that it would be cool to see an FMV of Link fighting Ganondorf like we saw at Space World but much deeper? Would it not be cool to run through Hyrule with living breathtaking evects that could change the concept of video games?! How would that not be unique for the Zelda games?
I do however, like your idea of Nintendo working with Namco and SquareEnix on a whole new series. I think that your on to something!

Alright fellow gamers!
This is none other than the RPGFreak who searches the web(while after partying) in search of the latest in the world of the console war, role playing games, and of course, Zelda.
What do I think of a Wind Waker sequel? Not suprise really! I think that what they should do with the Zelda series is to simply keep making cel-shaded graphics for the Game Cube until a new Nintendo console comes out.
To tell you the truth, I wasn't really happy with the end of wind waker. I liked the game play and graphics, but I couldn't belive how the ending was.  XO
One thing that I worry about is that since a "darker" Zelda game is not Miyamoto's style...  this could lead up to not see this style at all in a full Zelda game. Miyamoto said that this style in a Zelda game is simply too hard to make, which is why they went with cel-shaded look. I think that while a Wind Waker sequel is being made, they should start work on a realistic Zelga game for Game Cube 2. I also think if they do this, they should do it with either Namco or SquareEnix, who have had alot of passon for graphical games.
