That doesn't matter to me because TrackMania isn't on the Wii.

But you can play Trackmania on even the crappiest of computers.

How is Trackmania even similar to excitebots? Excitebots has more in common with Mario Kart then Trackmania.

Anyway I can't wait for the game, it looks fantastic with some of the craziest things ever included in a racing game (I mean POKER?!?! In a racing game?!?!?).

She has a point though, I want to be able to build tracks for an ExciteBike-like game, not some generic game I've never even heard of. Plus I can't stand playing games on a PC.

Oh wow, a lot has been discussed about the game. I wish I could get this game on the week of release but turns out I won't get paid till the company sorts out all of the paperwork (Its been a hellish week because of that).

So wait, what was discussed that established this as fact?

Are we even looking forward to this or are we being angsty for the sake of being angsty?

Maybe it's the drunken optimist in me but I took it to mean that some of Nintendo's products need to suck because we can't afford to buy all of these awesome games they are making. ;)

Didn't they have a poker minigame in Flat Out?

If you haven't heard of Trackmania you weren't listening, that's not exactly a small franchise.

Is this due to your Mario Kart addiction negating any need for another racer in your life? I could see room for both.

Me? I'm probably not going to buy this for awhile. None of the things are there that I kinda want in this game.  SD card support, Wii Speak. etc.  Plus just read my earlier post in this thread.

Its your buying decision, but the things you mentioned are somewhat cosmetic, as in it doesn't change how the game plays.

If the game didn't have an expanded online mode then I would understand why you would be indifferent. But SD Card support and Wii Speak seems cosmetic enough that you can play the game without them.

Didn't you read? He said those are the only things he wants in a game so he doesn't want racing, bots, multiplayer, etc. Obviously no point to buy the game then.

How can you declare the online crappy if the game isn't even out?

It seems you are struggling to make the game look worse than it really is. If you aren't interested in the game, fine. No biggie. But the more you try to make the game look bad without any personal impressions to back it up, the more foolish you end up looking.

SMG is sharewarish because it doesn't have SD card music support or Wii Speak.
