Beetlejuice Beetljuice 8/10 I'm not a great fan of legacy sequels, but this was good because it was kinda weird. It felt like a movie more involved in sidequests, which is a nice approach. A step in the right direction.

Deadpool and Wolverine - Garbage /10
Just what is this movie? It's not even funny. Not even worth the casual watch that I had. It's just "throw **** together" the movie. It's like eating ketchup on Chocolate cake.

I enjoyed it. If you didn't get the movie: The movie is about the use of power over people.
Ignore the plot and focus on how the characters interact with each other. That part is fun.
The twist didnt come late in the movie like regular twists, but early in the movie. Unfortunately if you saw a trailer this didnt seem like a twist because it was in your face. The double twist is how the pop star girl ends up using her celebrity against Josh Hartnett. And then it turns into a cat and mouse game. The way it turns around from him exerting his power over her to her exerting her power over him was great.
lol Jerry O'Connel... that's Josh Hartnett.
And does the movie make sense? It does in the context of where it takes place, and then it seems like yeah, characters doing things against their own best interest and dropping thr ball, that would happen.

I really liked it. I think it is too esoteric for most people though. Not in a comic book movie type way. You might see more in it if you went to art school. It helps that the type of movie it is I'm in the venn diagram for. I don't normally like musicals, but I do already like the type of music in the movie, and then I'm a Batman fan. And I like dark **** and horror movies. Prison movies. Court Dramas. The movie never dragged for me. It moved along with my adhd. It's going to be a cult classic though.
I also had a ton of discussions on forums about a specific scene about how people are traumatized so badly by the scene that they are remembering it not how it actually goes on screen. There is a lot of blank filling in the scene and they are remembering it as way worse than what actually appears on the screen. I can see how they got there, but to me it feels like their imagination jumped to conclusions. It's one of those cases like the first movie where Arthur was in Sophies apartment and everyone assumed he killed her, but none of that was actually on the screen and could actually explained away as simply being a cut where people filled in the blanks. For the first movie the Cinematagrapher later confirmed that nah she didn't die, they even filmed an additional scene with her, they just cut it because they wanted to have the film always focusing on Arthur. And of course she showed up again in the second movie This movie has a cut like that during a dark and intense moment. And people imaginations went dark. I'm kind of sick of discussing it though.
And the way the part 2 ends: I fully expected this ending. It wasn't a surprise.
As far as needing to watch it at the cinema goes... It comes out on streaming on october 29th. The first movie came out in 2019, which for me was like the last hurrah of movies I ended up watching multiple times in a cinema. I watched Joker three times. I watched it on my own, because I do that with all Batman movies. I watched it with a group, and then with another friend. I feel like I was kind of a tapdancer salesman for the first movie, and I was just more lazy with this one. This one is a harder sale. And I don't want to drag my friends to the cinema to watch a movie they aren't going to get.

interesting, that's an interesting take on Reed Richards. I like it. I liked Pedro Pascal as a choice, because he could play a character who is super cocky, but he's playing him as a nerd, which is probably for the better.

Furiosa - 10/10
I love the series, it's amazing how each movie manages to be cool in its own way while being different than the last.
Scream (1981) - 2/10 One of the worst movies I have ever seen. So, badly made. I was curious what this eclipsed titled movie was going to be like, it had a cool cover, and that is the only reason it gets a 2. The movie is abysmal.

I never ended up buying a Switch because I was waiting for whatever upgrade was going to come out. It would have been the OLED Switch, but that came out so late I thought "what was the point?" So, I never bought that either. I pretty much skipped this generation. I got gifted a ps4 in 2017 and just bought up some of the main games there.
At the same time. I have a Wii U. So, it isn't like I missed out on 1/4 of the games that came out for Switch.
It was a weird generation because I turned my room into a Mario room with blue turquoise sky walls and all and played ps4 the whole time. My office room I turned into horror themed.

Lily Gladstone was great, but she didn't say much in the movie, and her lines weren't very memorable. I have not seen Poor things. Gladstone's character was integral to the plot, but she was more of a supporting role than a lead. Even if she had been shifted to supporting actress instead she still would have been beaten by Da'Vine Joy Randolph from Holdovers because she was great. I was thinking Paul Giamatti and her were gonna bang in the movie. But it wasn't that type of movie.

Now the question is will Nintendo name Switch 2 something sensible like Switch 2, or something stupid that confuses people? Did they learn their lesson with the Wii U, or has the success of the Switch made them forget how Wii was successful too before Wii U came out?
It's kind of funny to think that the Switch has been out so long, that there is a generation of kids who don't understand the concept of an upgraded generation.

As far as I know. As long as they're using the same type of vendor for their GPU, upgrading existing games shouldn't be much of an issue. From a market capitalization perspective, Nintendo should stick with Nvidia.
