KDR: Not just Bomb Types.

1)The Shake Items for defense are all mutual abilities: Turn into Bomb (which is really cool), Jetpack (Somewhat cool), and Shield (Annoying)

2)Also, I found if I had the line bomb I could not use the pickup bomb ability. Perhaps I just didn't do it right, but that is what I am trying to figure out.

I think they may have made the game to where you can't just become this impossible Super-powered Bomber. Which I like.

Finally, what I HATE, HATE, HATE is the slower animations that just slow the entire game down. Punching glove is useless, because where it used to be a fast reaction to get bombs away from you...the animation is slow and turns it into a liability.

Does the game have the punch and kick power ups? Can you still spread diseases?

I recall reading that diseases spread. I wonder if it's replacing the tag-you're-it skulls or if it's in addition (I know Atomic Bomberman had both types).

KDR: It is additional, and there is some lag there.

In fact the entire game seems to have have laggish behavior.

Punch animation lag, pickup animation lag.

Switching desease lag, switching King Lag.

My favorite mode in the game Countdown, has bad lag in switching the countdown clock.

You would think with all my complaining that I don't like the game...far from it. I think the additions they added to this game, make it one of the best Bomberman games...I just think some things they did made it worse.

Another version of this game was announced for the PSN today. I may wait to get that one as I won't have to clean the fridge and I'll be able to yell at others online when they try to infect me with one of their disgusting diseases.

Don't know if it affects your purchase decision at all, but the PSN version only allows 4 players locally (whereas the WiiWare version allows up to eight).

You can also get Bomberman Live on XBLA. I think this game just suits the Wii though.

Thing is, I don't like controlling Bomberman with a joystick. Damn shame the 360 didn't come with a D-Pad.

You can choose "Continental" or "World", so yeah. I'm seeing a lot of people with Japanese names, too many to be American kids trying to be cool.

This game was the best game on WiiWare for a week, and it's still one of the best multiplayer games on the Wii, download or disc. It's one of the few games that I can say will be on my Wii forever, never removed from the fridge.
