He gave us something to fight for when the company was at its lowest and all hope seemed lost. Gaming would be dead in the filthy hands of M$ and Sony today if it weren't for him. Pay your respects to a great man in this thread, the hero whose legacy stretched from Gamecube to DS, Wii, 3DS, Wii U, Switch, and beyond--to Reggie, the irreplaceable, enjoy a well-earned retirement.

I cry tears of sorrow for our collective loss, and yet tears of joy for the legacy of excellent memes he's left behind.  I hope he gets to enjoy his retirement.

Reggie did a decent job during his tenure. He managed a few hat tricks like launching DS in North America first and getting Rockstar to give any fucks about Nintendo hardware at all. It was a pretty thankless job. Most of it involved towing the company line. He can’t just dunk on Wii U when that’s what NCL gives him.
