You guys have got to watch these clips. I am sold on this movie after watching these.

During Comic-Con, audiences were shown four clips from the upcoming R-rated film "Kick-Ass," based on Mark Millar's comic book. Bootleg clips have now appeared online thanks to Gorilla Nation and Worst Previews.
The story centers on a high school dweeb named Dave Lizewski who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination. Things change when he eventually runs into real bad guys with real weapons.

Nicolas Cage will play a former cop who wants to bring down a drug lord and has trained his daughter to be a lethal weapon.

This movie looks hilarious and badass all at the same time.

Inspired by his love of comic books, high school student Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) decides to transform himself into a masked crime fighter -- a decision that eventually thrusts the teenager into Internet stardom. Soon, Dave's antics inspire a wave of would-be heroes to don costumes and live out their superhero fantasies. Nicolas Cage and Christopher Mintz-Plasse also star in this comic book adaptation from director Matthew Vaughn.

It doesn't have a distributor yet. It's being privately funded by Matt Vaughn, so who knows whats gonna happen with it.

So many Comic Book being released in 2010 & 2011. There are quite a few in 2012 too.
I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not yet, but I'm sure a handful of them will be great.
Kick Ass will hopefully be in that handful, since it did make the "movies to keep an eye out for" list.
