Pointzero: But you *also* have a Gamecube, meaning you're open to games like DDR. The *only* XBox owning friend of mine who likes DDR (loves DDR- pretty good at it, too) also owns a Gamecube and, in my opinion, is very open minded. The rest of my XBox owning friends would never even watch someone play DDR- one told me he wouldn't play it because no game that has the word Dance in the title twice can be good. All of my friends who ARE DDR fans can actually be described as Nintendo fanboys- they bash the XBox for fun on a reglar basis (only one actually owns a PS2 and DDRMAX, as do I). The fact is most XBox owners are simply not interested in games like DDR- I mean, look at the top selling games on the XBox. Halo, Splinter Cell, Mechassault, Unreal Championship- are you seeing a pattern? Nothing that has a lot of Japanese influence. I think if they could find out some how, you'd see that just about everybody who bought DDR for the XBox is a fan of Japanese culture (anime, games, etc). I'd bet money on that, and lots of it. XBoix owners don't buy games just because they can go online.
