Pushmo World Announced for Wii U
« on: May 27, 2014, 03:12:00 PM »

Pushing your way onto the Wii U on June 19 all over the world!

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/37535/pushmo-world-announced-for-wii-u

Update: Pushmo World is also coming out in North America and Europe on June 19.

Pushmo World is coming to the Wii U eShop next month in Japan.

The game will be released on June 19 for 1,000 yen and will be 1 gigabyte in size. It appears to be similar in scope to the original with 250 new puzzles and will allow players to create their own puzzles on the GamePad. Created puzzles can be shared via Miiverse and can also be shared across Wii U and 3DS versions of the game using QR codes. However, not all of the Wii U puzzles will be able to be shared on 3DS. Additionally, Miiverse stamps can be unlocked during gameplay.

Developed by Intelligent Systems, Pushmo World has you sorting and shifting puzzle blocks around. The goal of the game is to save children locked in these puzzles by shifting the blocks in the right order. It first debuted on the 3DS eShop in late 2011. A sequel, Crashmo, came out on 3DS the following year.

I suspect we'll see an eShop indie games sizzle reel at E3 unveiling this game and maybe others for Wii U.

I'm pretty sure I called this in some thread months ago, but thought it would be a Pushmo HD package containing both 3DS games.

i guess its ok for people who don't have 3DS BUT HAVE WII U? BUT the 3d really helped things stand out so it would be unplayable to me. The graphics look nice but since I already own both games i have no interest in this re-make.

It's not a re-make. It's a new game.

Awesome! The two 'blox' games are amongst my favourite 3DS games.

Am I understanding the cross-compatibility correctly? If someone were to post the QR codes from the Wii U game online, I can scan them and play them on my 3DS without actually owning the Wii U game?
Gouge away.

Wait, how would the Wii U do QR codes? It doesn't have a camera.

The GamePad has a front-facing camera.

Oh that's right, I forgot about that. Honestly, I don't think I've ever used the thing.

Yes, fine, I got it. Seriously though, I don't think I've ever used it, and I own pretty much every game worth owning on the system and another dozen or so.

I used it for that Wii U Speak Skype Video Chat thingy. Once.
Video quality on that thing is surprisingly good (almost cruelly so considering how close you need to hold that thing to your face).
But yeah, it's useless.

I've used it for Wii Fit U. The camera is competent.

Here we go-

What is the proper continuity for Pushmo? where does Crashmo fit into the timeline?

That G-string on Mallo is NSFW

It's Pushmo's world, we're just living in it.

It's a special traditional belt for sumo wrestlers. Because, you know, Mallo is one.

What appears as fetish to americans isn't even a blip on a radar for majority of the world.
I actually watch a lot of sumo, and i don't get any weird feeling, maybe because i am not conditioned to think that anything showing off a bit of skin is supposed to be sexual.

Then how do you know something's sexy?
