I've been playing again but this week may be a lousy week for me to do some late nighters. Still, I'll be a definite maybe on Wednesday night depending how late everyone's hunting.

Yeah Wednesday sounds like it would be a good choice if anyone is still around to play then. I really hope we can get more people playing then or on Monday or Tuesday.

No problems here. Many of us are already done the quests but keep playing out of pure fun or to make that weapon or armor set you always wanted.

For me, the only things on my to do lists are Pale Extract farming to support my Mega Demon Drug addiction & occasionally I'll do arena runs for Hunter King Coins.

Getting online now. I will be at Greed 4, Gate 27 till others show up and then we can make a room from there. I go by Elipsia now so look for that at the gate.

Yeah I had a problem logging on at first and then I went and checked the settings in the Wii menu and did the connection test and it worked.

Thanks for the great times last night, Maxi and Mop (and cereza, whoever he/she may be)! Thanks especially to Maxi for putting up with me re-learning the controls the first hunt around. That was...rough.

I'd also forgotten how to be agile with a lance. Must relearn by March 2013!

The key to the Lance I have found is to use the counter and evade at the right times and on the right attacks. That way you are pretty much always attacking. Also there is a backhop that you can use if you turn away from the monster and then backhop it will put you closer to the monster.

That's what my vague memories are telling me, too. Of course theory is one thing, results are another! I found I could either make contact, or I could evade, but only rarely could I do both. I didn't even once paralyze the Urugaan.

Ah well, practice makes perfect!
