I like physical media too and I think a lack of it will lead to problems in the future.

Man I just renewed my subscription. Anyway R.I.P. Nintendo Power, you provided tips and info to gamers in a time where gaming info was scarce and near unobtainable. Thanks for the memories.

I got a 40 inch 1080p tv for black friday the difference from 480p freaked me out.

54
Called Gamestop today, and they told me Friday is when they should have it. Now I only have a few days to play it before college.

55
Less than 10 days to The Last Story I can't wait. :D

56
I'll keep my Wii just so I have a complete line of Nintendo consoles.

I'd rather use my cube for cube games anyway considering I have a GB player.

As for Wii games I'll play them on Wii U.

57
Finally a solid release date!

Yeah CAG has saved me some money. Normally though it boils down to how much you want a game it's harder to get deals at launch than say a few weeks later.

I'm pretty young too but I've played goldeneye and it's fun, especially with friends. lol golden guns and slappers only and what was up with those bouncing grenades. From a modern point of view though it's harder to get friends together to play co-op offline than it was back in the day. The use of the rumble pack was awesome.

Did you guys notice that the British guard zombie at the beginning of the e3 ubisoft trailer is the same guy fighting the zombies at the end of the trailer. And the guy in the blue shirt is a zombie attacking a lady later in the trailer.

God I hope it's better than Shadow Dragon with it's game breaking online shop and ability to change any character into any class. Seriously though I'm excited.

I'm kind of a noob when it comes to computers and I need to buy a laptop for college so I was just wondering if you guys had any advice on what I should look for.

Also sorry if this question belongs in another thread I couldn't find one.

I wish they'd open E3 to the public but wouldn't the tickets be really expensive?

I think it's kind of cool that it's a reboot of the first game Ubisoft ever made.

Bought New Play Control Pikmin for $14 thought I'd give the series a try to see if I'd buy Pikmin 3. Just started but I'm getting into it and the club nintendo code wasn't used so I got 50 coins. :)

Also preordered the Last Story. I can't wait but the lack of a concrete release date is killing me.

People have different opinions and I understand that but I feel people should look on the bright side. Are there alot of questions that have yet to be answered? yes. If you didn't like the conference thats fine but at least build a logical argument. How people on a poll I saw said Microsoft had the best conference is beyond me, I mean smartglass and like 3 decent looking games come on. Sometimes we let our inner fanboy and bias take center stage. Is criticism good? of course because it forces us to look at what is being critiqued and try to find improvement. Nintendo made some mistakes I'll acknowledge that. But it really angers me when I see people complaining for dumb reasons. Various websites as well as e3 tv shows have complained about lack of Zelda. It would be nice but Skyward is too new. If you're going to complain about lack of 1st party titles at least let them be series like star fox or f-zero who've had an ample amount of time to be developed. Nothing is perfect maybe we were expecting too much. But having watched all the conferences I am just amazed by all the bashing Nintendo is getting.

I don't know why everyone is hating on the Nintendo conference. Was it great? No but it was cool and smoked the Microsoft and Sony conferences. It also explained the new console well enough. As for the lack of games which seems to be the general cause of concern among gamers I find this complaint rather petty. The wii barely had any AAA third party support. Even if the Wii U is getting ports of several month old games at least it's a start and they aren't just straight ports either they're implementing new control options and in some cases bonus material. Assassins creed 3 as a launch title is amazing for Nintendo. I believe that Nintendo really is trying to court the hard core, the Wii U pro controller and m rated titles add credence to this. It's ridiculous for people to expect a new console Zelda already when skyward was released less than a year ago. New Super Mario Bros. U looked great and the graphics were much improved from last year. Nintendoland doesn't look bad, if it shows of what the wii u can do I'm all for it. I can relate to a desire for more mainstream epic nintendo games from franchises we hold near and dear or maybe from a new IP but I am confident they will come in time. System launches usually aren't great remember the ps3: 599 U.S dollars, Ridge Racer, giant enemy crabs. Nintendo hasn't shown anything that bad yet and that's why I can't comprehend the pessimism. I'm buying a Wii U at launch It looks amazing and I don't think I'll be disappointed.
