General Chat / WWE Raw2 VS Here Comes The Pain VS Wrestlemania XIX

Alright wrestling fans, the time has come. I don't think I have ever been this excited for a wrestling game. RAW2 looks sweet, and the custom song feature is awsome but for some reason I feel its not going to work the way it should. I am leaning more towards HCTP because it just looks and plays so real, and Wrestlemania doesn't have as many cool features.

Has anyone owned a Game Gear? I had one after I told my mom my Gameboy broke because it was black and white, so we returned and got a Game Gear which was worse because it used 6 batteries and they only lasted for like 4 hours. Anyway at my local Toys R Us they are selling em for $30 on the clearence game isle. Are there any quality games worth getting? And is the recharger thing worth it? I just love the way it looks...don't know why.

Nintendo Gaming / The Next Zelda

The next Zelda needs to be something that grabs everyones attention. I feel that Zelda should be Nintendo's new M franchise. Now before the flaming begins, just hear me out. Just imagine...


The new game starts out with Link walking through the gates of hell. Fire is burning in the backround and Link is a bloody pulp. He has a sword covered in blood in one hand, and a dented shield in the other. Link is walking looking like a bad ass, while Dream Theater - The Mirror is playing. As Link leaves hell defeating Gannon for the final time, he is surrounded by Knights, actual Knights with swords and shields. Then you play, actual sword and shield battling, actual blood, actual realistic effects. Soon after behind you a masked man on a horse smashes into you, causing you to lose concisnous (I massacred that word) and you end up in a room with the Triforce. Gannon is standing there with Alucard (I have no idea what the guys name is from A Link to the Past, so I'll name him Alucard) and Dark Link, but you only get a quick shot of him.

You are forced to drink a potion, then you are thrown into the forest maze and the game begins. As you procede through out the game, the potion that Link was given causes him to become more evil and evil and it will show. Links eyes will go from blue, to red etc. In this game, you will have a choice. You can defeat Gannon, get the triforce, and save Zelda OR overthrow the evil empire and become the supreme evil ruler of Hyrule.

I'm seriously bored and am waiting  for a download to finish.... I just thought that would be awsome.

Heh alright Grey I need your awsome assistance again It seems that WindowsME just doesnt want to leave my computer at all. I tried doing the promt, I just get a bad file name or error msg. So what can I do to rid my computer of this horrible OS? I need to remove it to install Windows98SE for some reason it wont let me install it with ME on here, it wont even erase it then install it.

Nintendo Gaming / Why is it called the Legend of Zelda?

Why is it called the Legend of Zelda? All Zelda does is play dumb and get captured all the time, most of her life is spent in a cell or dungeon, what Legend does she have to tell? Its not like she lived through Links adventures...The Legend of Link sounds a little weird but I could get used to it.

I dont want this topic to turn into a flame war about if its stupid and people do it because its cool etc etc. I want peoples real views on it. Honestly I see no reason why its illegal. If it was made legal but under the governments control, the government could make profit. The age would have to be 21 of course, and maybe Marlboro would get into the game (Marlboro Greens?) selling a pack of joints or marijuana ciggs for $3.50. I smoke but not to fit in and be cool, I smoke to relax or if I'm going somewhere boring (school anyone?) I get decent grades but because I smoke I am extremely lazy. I don't want to do anything when I'm high. Anyway how do you guys feel about this?

General Chat / Dreamcast Pro's

Alright tonight I have made my decision. Being owner of a PS2 and GC I had to get rid of my Dreamcast which was a HUGE mistake. The only way to get it back, is to trade in my ps2 with all the games to get enough cash to buy another Dreamcast. I'm not trading my GC because I must have Mario Kart and Mario Tennis. Anyway, I heard there is a way to play VCD's on your Dreamcast. How do you do this? Do you put a mod chip in it? Do you buy software? What exactly is a VCD? If anyone could provide me with a link to a site or explain how I can do this I would be extremely greatful. After I trade my PS2 I have to convince my parents to get me an Xbox which I have wanted forever....I can already hear the yelling "We took you to GameStop 100 times and you said you were positive you wanted the Gamestation!!! Now you want PlayBox?!?! I have to go aaaaallllllll out of my way for you!!!!!!!" Anyway thx for any info.

Hey guys, I'm new to these forums and got a quick question for people who know alot about computers. For my computer that is running WindowsME (which I hate with a passion) I was thinking of switching to RedHat Linux 9 which you can see http://accessories.gateway.com/AccessoryStore/Software_316896/Operating+Systems_316946/Linux_316948/2268419_ProdDetail.htm

Sorry for the big link. Anyway its pretty cheap. I dont know anything about programming but does anyone know if its a fast reliable OS? It wont lock up randomly on me like my current OS, and is that the newest most current, or atleast a good version of Linux? Thanks for any help.
