So -- Was the Audio/Video problems on Mr. Jack's end, or what?

I was pretty much spot on except for the video jerkiness sometimes. When you mentioned that you were just watching them get the key or whatever it was I had already seen it.

I wasn't around for this, but the whole thing is pretty awesome.  Way to go, Mr. Jack.  As I said in the "Recapping Zelda" thread, I'm replaying the whole franchise through, and I'm currently on Ocarina.  It's really fun to revisit all these games.

So is there any possibility of doing more events like this? It's pretty neat. I'd like to see us go through some new release or something in the future.

What sort of equipment do you need to pull it off well? Can a camcorder and a capture card work or do you need more gear?

Yes, we plan on doing this a lot in the future.

A webcam or a capture card (+inputs) is all that's necessary.

I have a regular camcorder and something that lets me hook it up to a computer. I haven't tried to run anything through my new computer. I'll have to dabble with it and see what happens.

I have a capture device. Though I have a feeling that setting up a live feed isn't something someone without knowledge of computers could do...

Question - How many times did y'all die in Zelda 1?  I finally finished my game today... wanted to compare. :)

Damn... way better than I did.  I should have grinded a bit more at the beginning and kept more potions on-hand. And it's been so long since I've played it... ;)

Well, in all fairness, I've played and beaten this game many, many times. It's one of my favorite Zelda games, and I do have it pretty solidly memorized, with the exception of the ninth dungeon.

I'm probably going to get the first 2 Zelda games from Gamefly soon. I am one of the people who started Zelda gaming with Phantom Hourglass and then went to Minish Cap and Link to the Past on the GBA. Thankfully, I am catching up on old games that came out on GBA quickly now.

Good job though. I hope that people will do this more on the forums now.

I'm streaming the entire "Final Fantasy IV : Echoes of Betrayal, Light of Redemption, an OverClocked ReMix Album" here if anybody is interested.

For the record, an event like this would be better suited with a chat room to go along with it.

...Just saying.

Not sure what you mean.  We always have a chatroom open, and it was used well during the Zelda broadcast (after the first day).

Whoa!  The links were down some time ago, so I thought it had burnt out.

I would have joined in had I realized it was back.  I suppose this is a case when I should just be ignored.

I joined the chatroom and someone asked if I was a girl. Kinda odd.

LOL.  I <3 Rimmer.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Is Stratos a hot chick?

Rimmer asks everyone that question when they join chat, unless he or she is a regular in the chat.  Then he still might do it.

NWR's chat has a different following than NWR's Forums, but they rarely chat.

That's strange. Do you know the username of the person who asked you?
Did you enter a chat username for yourself or did you leave it as generic? I kept logging in as "NWR_Chat_####" so maybe there was some confusion...
