Flowers can hint at the country a new region is based on
When I think about flowers I think about ''The Netherlands''
Russians loves flowers they give flowers to people much so ''Russia''
Or flowers hint at the design for Pokemon
Maybe it hint at more different areas in the games with many types of flowers
I dont know anything more
