I've never heard of this Thorium Wars game. ANd it's a sequel? Has anyone here played the original? Is it any good?

Wow, I came in just for sh*ts and giggles since there were not much Nintendo news going on today and I'm amazed at some of these eshop games.  Specifically the WiiU eshop releases, the bulk of the ones I saw were all very unique beautiful games.  Also the music is stellar, I'm always surprised at what these indie studios pull off.  They can put some of the big publishers to shame.
