Ah, that makes sense. I'll change it then.

Is there a Galaxy Force 1? I don't remember one any time recently coming out.
Not on the VC there isn't. Weird.

Was the first even on a system that is supported by the VC?

Though I do know some games that don't have originals. Space Empires only goes back as far as 2. The original was more of an elaborate beta from how I understood it to be and it was never publicly released.

We got that.  The problem is "tour" doesn't rhyme with "four".  Just like "dew" doesn't rhyme with "sew".
What are you talking about? How do you pronounce "tour"? It sounds just like ""four" but with a "T" whenever I hear anyone pronounce it...

It makes sense to me. Though some people pronounce it Tu-er and others pronounce it toe-er (toe as in the digits on your feet).

I was referring to hitting 10k.

How about asking who the Director of NWR is and giving a link to the staff bios page.

POn the matter of the broken GC. Mine has the same issue. I bought a Wii and use it for all my GC playing needs. It is only a problem if you want to use the Gameboy Player or the Broadband modem for Mario Kart LAN action. I'd just trade it in for a Wii and if you still want the Cube grab a new one off an online store for cheap.

I haven't done one before since I don't know anyone who downloads from the Japanese Shop Channel. I might do one though if people want one. It will be huge though since Japan has over 400 VC games, so that is at least 100 games they have that we don't.

Greg has one and I think another NWR staffer does too so you could collaborate with them. It would be a pretty big undertaking though. Maybe only record games that have been released in other regions in the past to keep out all the obscure Japanese only games?

Here's a good list.

Don't forget the leaked GH Van Halen! That's the specific band game for the Summer, any guesses for who the next artist to debut in GH will be this Holiday season?

I'm burning out, plus I'm growing ever fond of Rock Band and their continuous plethora of DLC for the same game.

If MGS4 comes to 360 then it seals the deal with which of the HD systems I will get. I was leaning towards a PS3 solely for MGS4. This cuts the legs off anything Sony could do.

The movies. You have to wonder how he could go from doing something as great as Mortal Kombat, to something as terrible as Resident Evil.

I have a friend who really likes all three RE movies. Strange.

Back on the matter of GC games, Gun always sounded interesting to me and it's cheap on Amazon. It's a spaghetti western shooter themed sandbox game. Could try that one out.

For some reason this reminds me..

Has anyone played that James Bond game, not Goldeneye Rogue Agent but the 3rd person one with Sean Connery as bond.. i think it was From Russia With Love, but I don't remember exactly. I remember at one point wanting to get either GUN or this bond game because i heard both were decent, and i found them at a reduced price, but never picked either up.

Just wondering if i should still consider it or not.

Yeah, now that you mention it that specific Bond game slipped under my radar too.

*Update*
I looked on IGN and it got a 7.9 from them. Not as good as Nightfire and Everything or Nothing but better than Agent Under Fire. No review for it from RFN.

I endorse this derailing.  ;-)

Rule breaking has been OKed by Lindy Luthor.

And the student hall monitor has been reprimanded for being too harsh and needlessly tattling  :P ;)

There's no upgrading--that was Parish's primary gripe with the game.  Great idea--horrible execution.

Well, phooey. I might still grab it at some point though because the game still seemed fun enough.

Imagine the chaos, confusion and general all-around pandemonium that would ensue if Nintendo announced an HDWii. I know not now and not at this E3, but in a year or two, especially if the Wii continues to slump in Japan like it is they might just try something like that for 2011/12.

And this is why I like you as the director of the site :)

I find the office is more enjoyable in a group setting because you tend to loosen up when a lot of other people are laughing too. It has high moments and low moments for me, no in between room.

Ian, I think with the N64 Nintendo was banking on the 64DD giving them that leg up on the pile compared to the CD based systems. When development on that stalled and bombed they were stuck with no alternative backup plan.

I likes the sound of those points. Especially that it has a lot a free-roaming play. The one thing I didn't like about No More Heroes was how most of the sword fighting was in contained areas and narrow hallways. Your sword was pretty much useless outside in the city.

If this game delivers: Sega will be swimming in cash, stupid "casual Wii lol" will be silenced for about a week, and High Voltage might just bump up their B grade status.

In this game fails: Third parties will ignore the Wii (they hate money), anti-Nintendo fanboys will fester, and Ian Sane will be a happy clam.

WHICH WILL HAPPEN? We'll find out in June. ;D

I don't see how Ian will be happy about it. He wants core games to come to the Wii. Or did I miss some Ian hates Conduit thread somewhere?

I just love how she treats herself to a huge mug of beer even though most fitness trainers advice against it.

The sequel commercial: Girl with a beer belly.

So it is a Taito/Nintendo collaboration. Interesting. I like the looks of it in motion.

So is Wand of Magic the new name for it? I'll post the video on the first post.

Can you only post links to videos or can you directly place videos on the page in viewable form?

Wow, I'm impressed.

This might be a good one to get the family because they've gotten bored with the regular WiiFit and this might get them more motivated to use it. What's MSRP for this title?

Maybe I just played way too many pong/breakout clones, but the shrinking paddle never phases me much and I never lose there.

The only problem I have is the length of levels because I don't typically have time to play much longer that the first level. Co-op is a blast.

What I don't get is why Gaijin can't upload a revised edition of the game to Nintendo's servers. Other games have had updated versions like Secret of Mana. Maybe they have but it has to go through the 'Convoluted Nintendo Certification Process' before it's posted.

14347
Righto.

They could just announce the NextBox which is two 360s duct taped together, with standard motion controller and actual backwards compatibility.

Right except for one thing: Backwards compatibility will cost you per title you want to play. $5-15 a title. $20 for the old Halo and Gears titles.
