I don't think that it was ever released on any system currently supported by the Virtual Console, but I would like Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. Until that day, I will just continue to play the Puzzle Kombat mode in the GameCube version of Mortal Kombat: Deception.

Perhaps Capcom could put out a version of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on WiiWare...

As I've stated before, Ogre Battle would be fabulous.  I wish SOMEONE would offer the original Darkstalkers or that old PSOne game One Piece Mansion...not that I have a PS3 with which to download One Piece Mansion in the first place.  Bleh.

So far I haven't bought any VC games that I have on NES/SNES/N64/other cart except for Link to the Past. That will probably continue for a while.

For SNES:

Fire Striker

Mario Paint

Strike Gunner

Super Punch Out

Turtles Tournament Fighters

For N64:

Majora's Mask(I have this one on cart but our N64 analog sticks are messed up.)

For genesis (32X):

Virtua Fighter

Definately. I don't know why I didn't think to mention that one, unless it's because I have the Zelda Collector's Disc and can already play it whenever I want on the Wii.

I don't know why Nintendo picked 43 MB as the WiiWare limit, but Majora's Mask would almost certainly be over that, being a 64 MB cartridge.

Strider was a different game on each platform, right?
Correct.  The NES one had a differently storyline and I've never gotten to play it.

I don't know if 43 MBs is just the biggest game out now, if it's some sort of osft limit that developers are wary of crossing, or if Nintendo actually stipulates it as a limit. Developers don't seem to acknowledge it as an actual boundary sometimes.

43 MB is 344 blocks, I don't think any game has been that big so far. It is a really weird number to be Nintendo's limit, so maybe it's not.

Really? I was sure my old Nintendo Power said it was 512 Mb back when they listed cartridge size.

I always wanted to play that, but we probably won't see it until it's a launch title for the DS 2 Virtual Console. Actually, knowing Nintendo, we won't get it until 2 years into the life of it.

Technically they could wrap it into the SGB ROM and run it on the SNES emulator but yeah, I doubt they'll do that.

I forgot to mention Mortal Kombat. For that I want as follows

MK1- Genesis or Sega CD :Crosses Fingers:
MK2- SNES
MK3/UMK3- Saturn (if possible they should be small enough files size)

Your VC wish list?
« Reply #41 on: December 02, 2008, 02:22:04 AM »
Well I forget when it happened, but the DVD reader on my WII died like 3 months ago and me and my brother have been transformed into hardcore users of the WIIWARE and virtual console, it has re awakened hankering for games on a system I thought I never would, the Sega CD.
More specifically after a cursory search on wikipedia I have found out that their has been pretty much nothing translated to the virtual console from the sega CD, heck the Turbographix16 CD has received way more support.
At any rate I now realise one of the reasons I hated that system so much wasnt really the games itself, but rather the media it was loaded on itself; I was on the verge of rapping popful mail when it started to skip on the end video and discovered a scratch on the CD(and vowed never to buy another CD based system after that, well hello their ultra 64....).
So without further adue.......

RE-RELEASE POPFUL MAIL ALREADY!!!

Also their were some links to to other CD based RPGs for the sega CD that I never got to play but look pretty sweet that you think would be prime for translation to VC, heck if they can translate Y1 & 11
why not popful mail!

At any rate any games anyone can think of that are dying to be brought to the VC?

I remember the first time a thread like this went up. I think almost everything I listed has since made it to the VC. Or at least Harvest Moon did. I don't think anything is important after that. Maybe they can put Harvest Moon 64 up on offer!
