Video Games Trained Me For Real Life

The other day at work a deaf coworker randomly started following me around. I didn't realize it at first, but when I did, she attempted to communicate but I don't know sign language and writing utensils weren't around. So I kind of just started pointing at things and picking things up around the back room to see if that was what she wanted and did so until I pointed at a shelf where she nodded furiously. She only wanted a box off the top shelf. And then I realized holy ****, that was exactly like that part in Link's Awakening where that ghost randomly starts following you around.
