Burnout 2: no more replay saving?
« on: April 12, 2003, 07:21:40 PM »
Is it me or did they take out the option to save crash replays? I never see the option come up, and scouring the manual turns up nothing. Otherwise a great game, but I've had some spectacular crashes that I wish I could have saved...

So, am I looking too hard, is it unlockable, or is it completely gone?

Wel atleast you found the freaking game!!! I just went out to Circuit City and Best Buy, both of them say it hasn't come out yet. ( near me ) They also say that splinter cell is only on xbox and PS2. I'm mad now.

Same situation here.  Because I went out of town prior to its release and just got back yesterday, I went to EB today to try to pick up my reserved copy.  Then the manager found it weird that besides not having a copy set aside, none were in the store, nor the other EB or Rhino's for that matter.  And it wasn't on the "to-ship" list, either.  Apparently our area hasn't gotten shipments yet, but I haven't checked other stores, since I've got money down and a gift voucher at EB anyway.

Yeah, the only way you'll be able to 'save' the replays is hook your GC up to the VRC and slam the record button.
The feature was taken out of the PS2 version at the last minute because the replays took far too much space on the memory card. And that's an 8 MB card there. Think of the trouble on the likes of the Memory Card 59 (a mere 512kb or something)

Wonder if you can save on the Xbox version?

Burnout is a game. You play it with your control pad.

The end.
