Day One:
This is Kent Brockman reporting. After the recent tragedy from the power plant two groups have been blamed for the incident. Some blame Montgomery burns for the cheap parts he bought to build the plant, while others blame worker Homer Simpson, for not being at his station at the time of the explosion.
Mr. Burns had this to say on the subject. “That sorry fatman Simpson will pay for what he has done to the town. After this is over I will take control of this town so that tragedies such as this one can never happen again, soon all of the people of Springfield will be my SLAVES! *cough* Im sorry, did I say slaves, I mean happy citizens."
It seems that Simpson has Blamed Mr. Burns for the incident, saying that he will destroy Mr. Burns for being such a cheap old windbag who bought such bad parts and let the donuts in the break room get stale. Mr. Simpson followed up with “Donuts….UUUUUUUUUUGGHH” It seems that Simpson also intends to take over the town so that he can build a bigger better nuclear plant to serve the city.
Emboldened by both of these men who were after his job, Mayor Quimby made a desperate decision. He has decided that all of the remaining citizens of Springfield, and undead zombies from the radiation of the power plant will vote every weekday before midnight eastern time for who they think is working against the townies. The Mayor told the people "My strategy WILL work, if the people of sprinfield are as intelligent as I think they are, we should be able to rid ourselves of these groups, so that I can keep my job!"
