General Chat / you know the squid thing in lotr? thats sega.

*may contain spoilers*

What have sega done to f-zero?! It seems sega have transformed F-zero's essence from coolness to lameness. I always used to refer to captain falcon as the man with the golden nipples (anyone with golden nipples is cool) , but now he's captain lameass. The racing is great, they managed to get one thing right. However you can no longer boost ahead to a narrow part of the track then sit their spin attacking getting billions(or a maximum of 4 if you can count) of lives. The qusetions you ask the racer at the end of the grand prix are a great idea, except for the crappy voice acting and lame script.

Mr. F-zero:"Why did you become an F-Zero racer"
Pico (with a really girly high pitched voice):"To quench my thirst for blood"

I was racing in one of the casino levels (the levels that look like they were in the latest sonic game) when i boosted on a curving road when i got air on a bump and fell into the sky and exploded. If it weren't for the excellent gameplay i wouldn't play it.

Rabicle and i were talking about what namco would do to starfox, and our conclusion is that there is no way that it can be worse than starfox adventures. Lets all be thankful that sega didnt get it's tentacles into starfox.

I'd buy a mambo gameboy if it had  funny picture on it. Imagine if Nintendo let mambo use their characters for their tee-shirts. Nintendo's kiddy image would fade away into the setting sun never to be seen again. Of course the kiddy image isn't a bad thing for nintendo. They have the parent's trust. And parents have the money not the little anklebiters.

We should get him invited into this discussion boards, or get Aussie ben to interview him or something. That moustache is something to be jealous of. It propably has it's own post code. Now that would be cool... having your own postcode.

It can't be monkeys, monkeys meet deadlines, that's why they use them to animate and write cartoons

Who here would nominate and vote for it to become part of players choice?
We should have our own players choice awards/list.

I want the masks to come back. Rolling around as goron, and swimming as a zora. It will give them a semi-plausible way to bring them(gorons and zora) back into the series.

Well I do have one complaint. I can't find any games in my town. But that's not Nintendo's fault, it's Harvey Norman's. I might try topshop.com.au, one time when I ordered Majora's Mask from them they gave me free Postage and handling and 5 Lara croft postcards. The movie Lara croft, not the animated one.

I've been thinking of creating a topic called "Official cool stuff I stole from RABicle's house" but I'm too lazy to click thenew topic butto im even too lazy to spell pit properly.... Basically you just post the officially coolest thing you have stolen from RABicle's house. Eg. I stole from RABicle's house an official Nintendo Orange Juicer. Or I stole from RABicle's house his official bali-made counterfeight poke'mon cards. Have fun make it as funny or as wierd as you like.

Actually I like nintendo Australia and their bungling! I once won a competition on the Nintendo Aus website, back when the background was black, and the icons played the mario theme when you put your mouse pointer over it. Anyway I won a colour gameboy and a super Mario DX game but it didn't come, I sent a letter asking them about it, and when it arrived their was two of each!~(^^) And I sent my poke'mon blue cartridge  so they could put mew on it. They sent it back with a letter and a deck of poke'mon cards saying that they accidently errased my data, but when i checked it, it was fine and had a mew on. They also sent me two of those poke'mon snap cards,I still got them.

I've got f-zero lay-byed in bunbury, but it's on with my parents microwave, i conned em' into buying the game for me, but if i had bought it myself i would have had it by now. Curse you television with your ads for cool, expensive, useless things my life would be uncomplete without!!! My friends are getting their P's in a month so I can get them to take me into Bumbury so I can buy heaps of cool official Nintendo stuff. For the mean time i'll eat fantails and play with my barrel-o-monkeys

In the town where I live there is no place where I can buy a new nintendo game. For a while the local Harvey Norman stocked games, but only mainly extreme sports and the scorpian king. They now cease to sell Nintendo games and it was the only place that had them! I remember pre-ordering my zelda game. I peed myself to sleep thinking of Ocarina of Time on Gamecube. I'd never actually bought it for my 64... Two months later I went to check up on it and they said that they didn't have any record of me preo-ordering it. I showed them my reciept and then they blamed nintendo for some reason. I got my money back though, and eventually I bought it a few months after it was released, in a town that is an hours drive away. Also there is only one video store that rents out gamecube games, and they only have release games. Ah well thinking about Harvey Norman is making me evil, im gonna sneak into RABicle's house and steal some of his new stuff from singapore.

I must admit I would like an aussie avatar, however I don't know how to make one happen, next to my name is some crappy thing about me breaking rules, I have a picture I want to use though.

Hopefully you'll let me borrow your zelda pre order disc while you are playing your collector disc, also thanks for the heads-up about the boards. The best (nintendo) things I ever got from a foriegn country were stickers and a kirby bouncyball... And then I gave it to my sister *hits himself*

Imagine Advance wars and fire emblem for the ds... *starts drooling* You could have 2 battles going at once one on each screen and to somehow have those battles interelated would be so cool. Apart from that I can't see how the two screen could be any use. It would work well for RPG's and strategy games but i can't see how they would use it for other types of games. I guess for multiplayer games a power up would be one screen would show what the other player can see.

There is only one thing that confuses me.

In Ocarina of time when you first see the master sword Navi maks a point about the Master Sword being legendary. If the master sword was created to counter the triforce, then there must have been a reason (and possibly a hero) before OoT for it to be forged.

Nintendo Gaming / Discussion: But the hero did not appear...
« on: April 19, 2003, 09:00:24 PM »
(spoilers of OoT)

I am positioned to believe from Majora's mask that when Link was returned to his original age he remembered everything, that is why he went searching for Navi instead of re-opening the temple of time, as he knew that Gannondorf would follow him into the sacred realm and claim the triforce.

Until I played Super smash bros. Melee I thought that after saving Termina Link went searching for Hyrule in a boat, hence the game Link's Awakening, but then I got the Marin Trophy which doesn't look like Zelda.

Nintendo Gaming / Another Zelda Game
« on: April 19, 2003, 08:44:51 PM »
I want the link from OoT and MM to return from Termina, except that 400 years has passed since Ganon has been killed due to the portal he falls down in Majora's Mask. He then sets off on another adventure to find out what has happened over the last 400 years and finds out that things are very chaotic, most of the species have died out, and then he finds a song to transport him back to termina, but without a time warp. TErmina is also different due to the timewarp at the start, and he has to teleport from the two worlds to set them both right.
