True Bustin, I was thinkin' more along the lines of shows and not feature length films.

Miyazaki is the director of the films Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. He has done many films and contributed to other works.

If you couldn't really get into Naruto...Shippuden might be a little hard to follow (due to the continuing overall story) and a lot of the meaningful events won't mean much since you don't have much background on the characters but I say go for it. You may find yourself bakctracking to the original series because you like Shippiuden =).

Edit: Oh and they should be continuing Cowboy Bebop through more feature length films apparently. After the first movies release numerous interviews have stated that the crew and creator have a desire to keep exploring the bebop universe.

If you want to get into a long ongoing series...

Naruto is a really good series overall (in japanese forget the english version: narutofan.com). Stop watching the series at around episode 137, after that it's fillers until...:

Naruto: Shippuuden (the second part of the anime series which picks up where the manga left off after a time gap) is even better with a much more "mature" tone, fantastic music and pretty good animation most of the time.

Magical Quest was pretty fun from what I remember of it . . . would be better than probably any of those games listed in that press release.

I think C-Stick in Smash Bros. IS a noob tactic but that's just me. It never really bothered me too much though. Can't wait for Brawl . . . can't wait.

The music isn't really bad in the game, it's not as 'good' as say Tetris Attack but honestly if you had fun with Tetris Attack and the other incarnations of this game, I would recommend getting this game. The online Wif-Fi battles (random paring FTW) is very very fun.

One of the best purchases i've made for the DS =) countless hours of fun and it got me to put away pokemon haha.

(Though if Pokemon had just included a random online battle feature it may be a different story, but it didn't so puzzle league will be sitting in my DS for some time now.)

Sonic 3 is the first sonic game that uses a multi-save file system I think.

I'm back from my trip and I just want to clarify, I do EV train my guys but I do NOT item clone at all.

I don't IV train to perfection (which would require an absurd amount of time and lots of rare candies) but the EVs are easy to do with a Gamefaq list and a calculator haha.

I look forward to playing this week, 5 of my guys are now complete and ready to roll! Just deciding on what the 6th should be...

Oh and on a random side note, I beat the first Tycoon fight in the battle tower today...word lol.

I never played through many FF games but I feel like a champ now for beating Culex in Mario RPG if he is really considered harder than most FF bosses. =)

Edit: Agree with the Wind Waker remarks.

COMPLETELY AGREE with Super Metroid.

Super Metroid is incredibly fun, I've played through it so many times in my life and it never gets old. I was shocked when Super Metroid wasn't #100 with the huge deal made over it, especially since Super Metroid was such a well received title AND the fact that it hasn't been re-released in any form on any platform.

. . . lawl Rickrolled.

In this game you dig them up in the underground . . . no longer can you buy the stones from the store like in the GBA, GBC and GB games.

On a side note: working up EVs ain't that bad if you get the battle tower items that increase a specific EV gain by 4.

Yeah I agree, I really wish there was a random battle lobby though . . .

True, the move relearner fee is annoying. As is having to dig up evolution stones. I wish I had the GBA games just to transfer stones over =/.

I think an awesome addition would have been to make EVs not a complicated grind but maybe something along the lines of touch screen mini games to strengthen your PKMN . . . because I do agree grinding is boring.

but I also think making things too easy makes it boring . . .

it's tough finding a happy balance ^^;

1) Pick a pokemon/character
2) Distribute some bonus stats (or EV's as you have it) to customize
3) Pick moves/skills from all available to that type
4) Have fun with it

I think the game does givee you the ability to just have fun with it and you can really choose to play as you like. Playing just among friends casually doesn't need massive time put into the game, nor do you have to bend over backwards worrying about EVs and IVs.

I like the fact that the game has added (albeit somewhat random) layers to it. It makes people who want to play competitively gain more play time out of it (the game) by having to really get down to the nitty gritty of making your Pokemon the best it can be. Sure it's somewhat long and boring working up specific EV's but I feel like it's worth it to gain a slight edge over the competition.

I like the added depth but it's not for everyone I guess.

Only now are my friend (shast) and I re-working our teams and working out the EV points and Nature to make our teams the best they can be.

It's extremely tedious and boring but once it is done, it is pretty rewarding. =)

As Wutang said and I recommend, clear the game first and then think about back-tracking to rebuild / rebreed your team.

I love the metroid series, I loved Metroid Prime, but I never beat Metroid Prime 2 either....I didn't find the game that entertaining for some reason. ::shrugs:

Super Metroid is stlll hands down the best in the series IMHO.

I wasn't able to participate in the event at the given time last night cause of work.

However, Rachet was on at around midnight EST so I got to experience some online play. Man I gotta give credit to Nintendo where credit is due. The voice chat and non-laggy battles are very cool.

I felt kinda bad cause my pokemon are all around level 50 plus (my main guys being level 70+) and my eeveelutions are all around 50ish now. He was still very early on in the game so it was an easy win.

He was nice though so I gave him a gift, I sent him one of my un-used eevees, I hope to see him use it sometime down the line.

Hopefully by the time the next online event goes down my all eeveelution team will be complete and I can get into some really intense battles!
