CRISIS EARTH BETA DAY 5
« on: June 19, 2008, 10:26:42 PM »
If somebody is a killer in one Earth...how can we be sure he isn't evil in this one?

We Can't...DAaaMan64, could be a killer or Mafia here.  Should we risk it?

HELL NO!!!!  DAaaMan64 is a threat so he must be killed.

And thus ended the life of DAaaman64 a regular Townie in Beta.

So then, what does that mean for the Mafia's actions?

Oh sweet Mafia, what killing do you bring us tonight?

It appears that Plugabugz was found dead, UncleBobed...in other words...he was Pyro-Necro-Raped.

Oh and Plugabugz...was the Tough Guy.  There are no more special roles in Beta.

Today is a very important vote for Beta.

There are 4 Townies and 3 Mafia Members left.

If Mafia Members out number Townies the game is over.

So if two townies die then the game will be over.

However, since only 2 deaths can occur a night.  If a Mafia and Townie die then it is 3 to 2...and it is the same situation.

As it stands All the townies may have to band together to out vote the Mafia...except that they have an extra vote with the Alpha Earth.

Let's see what happens shall we.

Apparently, no one cares about this earth.
TVman is dead. I killed him and took his posts.

Vote Vudu ditto cuz of his crazy backwards moon language, but i'll change my vote if pursuaded. i'm not wasting another day again

What part of I was the Brother on Alpha and therefore I'm a townie on Beta don't you understand?  Ask Insanolord (my Sister on Beta, who's still alive on Alpha) and he'll back me up.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Easycure:  When I first started playing Mafia I was lost as well...in fact in 4 games in a row I was killed first and never go any experience.

The Best thing you can do is talk to a Vet while the game is going on.  They will manipulate you and use you for their own advantage (Khush) but they will also teach you how to play the game and usually keep you alive, because they are manipulating you.  :^)

Trust me...it is the best way to play.

Here is a list of players still alive on Beta.  I left off myself because I'm a certified townie.  We know that three of these players are mafia.

  • Crimm
  • Dasmos
  • Easycure
  • nickmitch
  • Pryopizm
  • Stevey

Here's a list of their voting patterns over the past 4 days.

Crimm                Dasmos              EasyCure            nickmitch           Pryopizm            stevey
Day 1        Rat (1)Rat (2)Rat (3)
Day 2Khush (1)Khush (4)Khush (2)
Day 3EasyCure (1)Dasmos (1)Plugabugz (2)EasyCure (3)
Day 4DAaaMan (2)DAaaMan (3)DAaaMan (1)

Note:  Stevey's vote for DAaaMan on day 4 was changed to a non-vote at the last minute.  However, I'm still counting it because it affected all other votes after it.

We know Khush was a member of the mafia.  His voted for Crimm on day 1 and first Crimm, then Shift Key on day 2.

EasyCure was voted out on day 3, but the Doctor (UncleBob) saved him.  Unless they played an amazing trick, it's safe to assume that EasyCure is not on the same side as Dasmos and Stevey.  DAaaMan (who we now know is a townie) also voted out EasyCure on that day, but unfortunately, that doesn't tell us much about EasyCure's loyalties.

Now here is the question--Crimm was responsible for the band wagon against Khush on day 2.  So did he mean to get Khush voted out, or was it just playful banter amongst mafia members that got out of control?  Pryo and EasyCure voted for Khush later that day, so I'm fairly sure that they're townies.  However, Dasmos, nickmitch and stevey abstained from voting on day 2.  If they're mafia, why didn't they try to protect their brother?  Was it just because it was a hopeless situation, so they didn't want to draw attention to themselves by trying to save a lost cause?

Regardless, I have no other leads at this time.  I'm almost certain Pryo is a townie.  I'm somewhat less certain about Crimm and EasyCure, but they give me no reason to suspect them outright.

At this point I am going out on a limb and naming Dasmos, nickmitch and stevey as the remaining mafia members on Beta.  Since nickmitch seems to be the most active in the game, he should be the first to go (a non-voting mafia member is less of a threat than a voting one).

VOTE NICKMITCH

I urge my brothers on Earth Alpha to vote with me.

Vote Vudu

1 Being the 1st voter and trying to start a bandwagon with it when no one really has a clue on make or break day just smells of mafia
2 In other games that had Bro-sis roles had the sis a townie and bro a Mafia member so that doesn't really work in your favor
3 I doubt that Dasmos and nickmitch would both be mafia in BOTH worlds especially since Khush's role of backstabbing one for the other would be pointless
4 Killing active players just make it easier for the mafia to win

your chart makes no sense. I can't figure out what all the (#) are for. If you could make your argument a little more clear maybe people would agree with you. BUt you are also one of the better players at this and I seam to recall that even when you are Mafia you make strong arguments to get rid of non-Mafia members. Plus you always voted for me even when you know we are on the same side, so how can you be trusted anyways.

I voted the way I did on day 2 because...well I just said "vote for whoever I see."  I was watching the Alpha game closer, once the whole "two games in one" thing was clear to me.  Honestly, I haven't voted much in Beta because being a regular ol' townie is boring.  I was mafia in Alpha, and that's always awesome sauce.

In beta, I was mr boring.

Yes there was a mafia game where the sister was a townie and brother was a Mafia member and do you know who hosted it

I DID!

Too late for ninja edits, prove my theory on vudu being mafia

Or maybe seeing as I was the one who started the bandwagon, I didn't realise that EasyCure was a townie?

Heh, I voted for Khush long before the vote was over and before it was far from won. I just changed my vote because of the stupid reasoning behind Shifty's logic. I still maintain that it's poor logic and it was a pretty bad way to go about it, but it worked so whatever.
