I'll have you know that Shaw is most certainly UP right now.  It might be because I am on the same ISP as our beloved Matrix, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with his avatar from where I am sitting.  Why don't you come sit on my lap and see?

Shaw has been screwy with me lately. I upgraded to a different package, and that somehow gave them grounds to delete all my e-mail addresses and websites. I re-registered again same usernames, and everything restored itself. Wierd.

It's back up now.

Edit: I thought the random-avatar one was too many pixels, but I guess it isn't. I guess I'll use it. Is there file-size restriction on avatars? I checked the faq, but there isn't anything on it.

there's a restriction of 20kb.

I just see the one image righ now, but it looks cool.  I have long been a fan of Scrapped Princess (since Episode 8 or so)

I just finished watching episode 21 of Scrapped Princess, and am downloading 22 as I type.

Yeah, I was quite anxious to see Episode 21 myself.  I watched it the moment the first group translated it last week.  I think it was like Anime Junkies or something (not really fond of their translation).  I LOVED that episode.  I finished downloading 22 about an hour ago, but I haven't had time to watch it yet.

Anime Junkies are brutal translators. I'm still realing from their Ghost in the Shell translation (http://hikikomori.net/krinos/AJ_vs_Aone.jpg). I usually download from Anime Keep or Anime Kraze. Too bad Junkies is always the first one to finish.

lol.  That definately looks like AJ to me.    I always go for the Anbu-Keep translation to keep consistency, and because they are always pretty quick to finish.

Finally got around to changing my avatar.    What do you guys think?  I don't think that she looks cute enough in that pic, and I might find a better one later, but for now, I think this one is good.

Raquel annoys me as a character. Her brother gets so much attention in the series and she gets nearly zero.

Actually who should be the most annoying character is Pacifica Cassull. She has the most atention of all of them(of cousre she's the main character) but she hasn't done anything yet. I want to see her real powers working in full throttle. To me Raquel is quite impressive with her cloaking magic and all.

BTW Grey Ninja you have a very nice and smooth(non-aggressive) avatar.

Heh...  you guys are nuts.  Raquel has my full, undivided attention whenever she's on screen.

lol @ Bill, trying to keep his avatar the same.  I vote that you should just get a ToS avatar when the game actually comes out.  It would seem to make a little more sense, as then you would actually know who the character was... but each to his own.

Btw, does it strike anyone else as odd that a lot of guys seem to pick female characters to represent them?

It just shows my dedication to this game ^_^

As for guys choosing females for their avatars...The reason I always choose female characters is that I can't stand most male anime and videogame characters, so I guess that just reflects on my avatar-usage

Personally I have no idea why all my avatars are female.  It's probably because I have little to no respect for most men, strange as that may sound.

Anyways, Raquel didn't seem to last long.  I just bought Soul Calibur II, and Taki is everything I dreamed her to be, and more.  I played through the game twice with Link, then I switched to Taki.  That was it for me.  I haven't even tried playing with other characters.

I am seriously considering spending $300 on a pair of Tonto at this point.    I REALLY need a sword now, and I left the one I did have in Lethbridge, as I didn't think it was a bright idea to bring it on the plane with me when I moved.

As for weaponry, I want a pair of bladed tonfa like the kind Talim uses, but alas they don't exist ...Maybe I can glue knives to the ends of my wooden ones
