Zelda Wii U: Confirmed to have no release date at this time.

Nintendo has issued a supplementary statement to their 1st fiscal quarter financials which includes the traditional updated release schedule.

Although most of the games were already revealed, Project Guard is now listed as a 2016 elease while Project Giant Robot, which previously listed as 1st half of 2015, is now showing a TBA release date. This confirms that Platinum is working to turn Guard into a full game as was announced at E3.

The other major news is that The Legend of Zelda Wii U, which has not had a release window since March's delay, is still showing "TBD" on the schedule as a result along with the European release of Dr. Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training. However, Zelda Wii U will likely release.

By the way, Neal managed to preserve a first draft of this story, and it may be relevant to your interests.

First draft is best draft.

I'm curious as to what Project Guard will become. Maybe it will be a small eShop game or be built up to something more.

Project Giant Robo's slide in to the vapor is probably for the best. The early footage in 2014 looked a bit too unwieldy.
