Nintendo Gaming / EB in Santa Monca California has DS for $200

I was visiting EB in Santa Monica Mall, and found a price on a picture of a DS. The price was $200, and I don’t recall Nintendo ever announcing an official price point to their handheld. When I asked the clerk if that would be the price when it launches, he said yes. I'm skeptical that he knows the price of the handheld already, but who knows. I think EB is just estimating the price, because they didn't give me the option of pre ordering it. What do you guys think ?

With the extra processing power, maybe the GBA will be capable of illegally emulating NES games.(that would be Naughty)

I think Nintendo is capable of doing something totally different from the the gameboy brand. If Nintendo is known for anything, it's being different. But will the average consumer differentiate the new product from their past Gameboy brand? I dont think the consumer will see any difference, for them it's another handheld. I wouldn't even be suprised if they add the word "Boy" for whatever name they decide to make for the DS(Virtual Boy).

I'm sad to See Silicon Knights not be an exclusive developer anymore because they are very commited, and talented artist. I was hoping for Too Human since the first time I heard of them being a 2nd party developer, I hope it still comes out on a Nintendo console in the future. Now that they are going, I think it would have been best if they would have come out with Too Human instead of The Metal Gear Solid remake.
