SBCG4AP will include some extra features in addition to the staples of point-and-click gameplay, and is currently in the early stages of the submittal process.

 Last week, Telltale Games revealed more details about SBCG4AP through their development blog. The first episode, Homestar Ruiner, "involves destroying Homestar's life and then gathering up the pieces of his shattered psyche and putting them back together." The premiere episode is in the early stages of Nintendo's submission process, and Telltale Games currently believes it'll release on WiiWare sometime in July.

Being a point-and-click adventure title, SBCG4AP will feature the usual story driven gameplay, character interaction, inventory management, and environment observation found in virtually all titles in the genre. Unlike many titles in the genre, SBCG4AP will also include extensive side questing.

Players can collect hidden items which will grant access to various functions within the game. A particular hidden item within the game will grant the player access to the Snake Boxer minigame, another will unlock trophies from HomeStarRunner character Coach Z. In addition to collecting hidden items, players will also be able to collect costume items sprinkled throughout the game.

Finally, players will be able to take pictures of their in-game avatar and Wii-mail them to Wii Friends by accessing Strongbad's computer, Lappy.

It sounds as if they're going to release each episode episodically instead of all at once. Hmm... I wonder how much each will cost separately? 800 Wii Points?

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Well, yeah, that's the idea behind episodic content.
