I would hesitate to say Dexter is better then True Blood or vice versa. They are two vastly different shows. Both are two of my favorite shows on TV right now.

I saw the 1st episode. I thought it was very uncaptivating.

You have to watch the remaining four for it to really come together. And it helps to have an idea of how it fits into the Doctor Who universe.

The thing about True Blood is that it's one of those series that is offensive for the sole reason of being offensive.

Yeah its related! It span off from Doctor Who around 2006 and has been mentioned since Who's rebirth in 2005.

I have. Loved it with exception for that last episode which now makes me think of Captain Jack Harkness as... well I just didn't like his choices. I hate him. As I was watching the mini series I even contemplated buying the blu-ray set, but not after that last disaster of an episode.

I loved it for that reason. It didn't end on a HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY ending. And it sets it up nicely for a return to Doctor Who when David Tennant leaves later this year.

Oh I didn't mind it being an unhappy ending because I'm used to that from the normal TV series, but Jack just seemed to be a coward, and that Gwen like she was all gun toting and then on the last episode she was like "we can't do anything *sob* let's run away". It's just my personal choice, I like characters that take action and take responsibility for those actions.
