futurewise, the DS Lite stylus should get the job done quite nicely.

If you want to be so picky, then just refer to it as an action/rpg or action/adventure/rpg (the most exact one, I suppose). It's definitely not not an rpg

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Mega Man X Collection - X3 specifically
« on: February 01, 2006, 01:19:08 PM »
The music in X3 from the Saturn/PSX version just pales in comparison to the SNES original; it feels empty and lacking the (lit.) rocking sound of the original.

I know the music in the collection is from the PSX version of the game. The original SNES version had music I really didn't like either. Not very catchy at all.

That's just not true.

They did have a smaller SNES but seriously, the REV is incredibly small already (thankfully).

The DS has always been a touch less comfortable than I would have liked so this should solve that problem quite nicely and at the same time look a whole lot more awesome.

The amazing looking white PSP came out on the 15th, along with the Winning Eleven Game. We'll see how this combo does soon enough.

check out Rare's main page at the bottom to find out that:

"VACANCIES

EXPERIENCED 3D ARTISTS (NINTENDO DS)
Good understanding of 3D packages (preferably Maya), strong modelling and texturing abilities, imagination and motivation are all required from anyone hoping to join our Develop award-nominated team in creating key DS titles.

3D ARTISTS
Must have imagination, motivation and a natural flair for creating detailed environments, characters or animation. Strong creative and technical abilities essential; previous experience with 3D packages (including Maya) advantageous. "

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Majesco Wireless Adapter

I never tried it and it sounds tempting (almost every game is wireless) but there is basically zero chance anyone else will own it as well, it becomes pointless unfortunately.

Here's the 3 console hardware sales taken from GA forums:

PS2: 488,000
Xbox: 241,000
Gamecube: 114,000

Something terribly wrong is going on when the best selling game of the month (and very appealing)  doesn't push hardware sales worth a damn.
I can only wonder how much impact the ps2 annoucement really made considering these sales.

I find that completely ridiculous. First of all, the grand prix and story mode are too easy. Where's the master level and why does it take more than a minute for all the cars to pass by me (really ridiculous). The controls are almost too complex for their own good because there is not enough buttons on the GBA to have a separate turbo and attack (which work horribly in the game by the way).  The turbo didn't matter in Maximum Velocity because it was a limited one. Unless you specifically tell me outright then I have no idea why you would enjoy it more (now it does sport some really cool tracks but the bouncy physics, just no). This is the one F-Zero game that I sold!

Don't forget it actually released Dec 2nd after a few short delays. So yeah and Metroid Prime 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 sales really bombed horribly, so sad.

So they actually are releasing the Mega Man Collection on the Xbox; I certainly hope that they'll release the Street Fighter Collection on the GameCube then since it is being sorely missed.

The thing is, it's doesn't actually have analogue control right now which is why you would have to press 'b' to run, I suppose. I really hope they don't leave out analogue control because it would make it so much better and be more advanced as well (I know MGS TT could have used this type of control and it felt worse without it).
