A collectible gold coin case will be included in pre-orders of New Super Mario Bros. 2 at GAME and Gamestation stores.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 places an emphasis on coin collecting, and gamers will now be able to take the beloved gold coins they collect out of the game. The case itself is large enough to hold the game card, making it a useful way to transport the game in style.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 releases in Europe on August 17.

As the press release points out, the case is not made out of gold, but is only gold-colored.
