Topic: I did my first news broadcast ever.

It was a fake broadcast I shot in studio for a class project but I was in studio dressed up for the camera. I can safely say I am NOT cut out to be a reporter glad I got that settled. Ever seen the Everybody Loves Raymond where Ray goes on that sports show, he was Emmy worthy compared to me.

did you sweat all your makeup off?
start stuttering and lose your place on the monitor?
were you standing in the wrong place for the green screen?

I assume you were extremely nervous on camera.

No, worse mostly I just read off the paper, my tie was not centered, my hair was a mess, my voice cracked, I was super nervous, and yes I looked at the wrong camera when I did look up so it was a total disaster. The only saving grace was my friend who 'tossed' to my shot from the news desk and my graphics pulled it all together to at least look semi professional. Good enough for a college course not close to good enough for a real broadcast.
